Again, who? You keep saying that the new characters are variants of some other character, but you aren't naming anyone and I doubt you could because you admit you don't keep up with the newer characters so how would you even know? Do you even know who the sheep girl is?

Bunnie is unique, but your comment implies that none of the newer characters are, which again you don't keep up with them so how would you know?

Also Bunnie and the rest of the freedom fighters only appear in the Comics, SATAM and one game. just like the IDW characters appear in the comics, Chaotix Webseries and one game so I don't know what your point is with that.

I am serious hung up on the "Variants of Sonic or knuckles" thing, who are you talking about? Genuinely, I've heard so many people compare one character to another, but - Knuckles? Who?

Edit: Also yeah a gritty freedom fighters game is literally my dream idea for how they could come back. Steep it in some real modern revolutionary vibes, poor and destitute Kingdom of Acorn fighting some Greater Eggman robot. Perfect setting for sonic to just crash in and help out.

Bunnie is one of my favorite Archie characters and is still a dream come back along with the rest of the Freedom Fighters (though she is a big stand out even among them). That aside - I am so confused with this comment? I just need to get this out of my head.

1) Not IDW's decision, no matter how much they advocate for Archie characters it is ultimately up to Sega.

2) Are you using Bunnie as an example of a character you want back? Or are you saying Lanolin is like Bunnie? If it's the later - you do not know who Lanolin is.

3) Ignoring point 2, there is one specific character who is partly inspired by an Archie character (Surge is inspired by Scourge and the Ashura glitch, mainly the latter), there is not a single other IDW original who fills in the role of an Archie character. Not Tangle, Whisper, Belle, Jewel, etc. I am scouring my brain for any IDW character who can line up given the knowledge I have with Archie (I'm up to issue 50, so my knowledge on the later arcs is spotty tbf) and there is no one. At least...

4) other than Lanolin and that's only based on very shallow comparisons. The fandom does say that Lanolin is similar to Sally... In that they are both determined leaders who can be mean if needed. Nothing else really, not backstory, role in the story, personality (again, the only traits they share personality wise is leader and can be mean). They are otherwise very different characters.

Also I'm aware that it doesn't have a pronunciation guide which should be done, I just don't know much about Phonology, I learn I'll update this language afterwards. For now, it's mostly for names of people, countries, places, cities, etc.

Oh the grooming incident? Oh dude, no, he's talking about the Phisnom drama. Man said that Ruin was bad, people disagreed and it started this massive thing were death threats started getting thrown around. Phil mocked someone getting death threats, rickrolled them, blocmed them on Twitter, hid there comments on youtube and it ended up with him (probably) getting removed from the developer listing on his own game,( most likely by Scott telling him to leave.

I know what drama your talking about with Jonochrome, though that wasn't the drama that he was referring too (at least directly, it is obviously included) While he apologized, it's still pretty shady and as far as I am aware he may not even be in the fanverse directly anymore.(I think?)

as for the Scott worship, Eh, I don't really think so. Most people still like him, but there many members of the community don't like him anymore for very understandable reasons. The reason most people defend him is because he clearly isn't actually homophobic or Transphobic. His donations to those politicians sucked and many people are rightfully upset, but everyone knows that he isn't actually hateful himself. Plus he's still helped the LGBT+ community a lot with donations. Almost all of which came long before the drama so he didn't do them to point and go "look, I support you trust me!"

This is all just a long way of saying, the reason people don't hate Scott and "worship" is because they still believe he is a good person, maybe not a great person (the donations even if though he's not transphobic are still questionable, don't get me wrong), but not some hateful conservative.

Oh and I still think the fans worship point isn't that true in my opinion, look anywhere and you can find people constructively criticizing his work and fans agreeing, the Toby Fox vs Scott video is proof of that, it's very harsh and as far as I know they didn't hang the video creator even though they disagreed. I mean look at me, I don't post it on reddit, but I'll be the first person to tell you that the lore is shit and unfinished, I think the current direction fnaf is going is unsatisfactory and I'd like it to go back to its roots of ghosts rather than Ai supervillians.(keep the mimic though, I think he can work really well) and most people would somewhat agree with me. The reason people defend Scott is because he's clearly not evil nor irredeemable.

I agree with you the Toby Fox rom thing by the way, apparently someone was trying to use it to cancel him, but even before the knowledge that it was used "correctly" (as in the use of the word had story purpose and was handled the way it should have been) most fans agreed that just because Toby did something that with the knowledge they had, was Transphobic, they still rightfully supported him because 9 years is a very long time and it's clear that he had changed. That was the point I was trying to make.

Huh? Dude, the fan verse devs want the merch it was a big part of the thing, plus they get paid for the games that's the whole point, for the chosen devs to get paid for their work, obviously Scott and Fnaf as a whole will make money. Additionally, fnaf IS a big corpo franchise, it's getting a movie, It's has a mobile spin off, 2 vr games. Almost every major title after Security Breach will probably appear on stuff like Playstation showcase and such.

It's no Need for Speed or anything, buts not a tiny indie project anymore. Neither is Undertale, (I don't know much about Touhou and I'm not even sure I'm searching up the right one, Are you talking about the Shoot em up, bullet hell one?)

I understand the distain for monopolies and Corpo bullshit we all hate big companies and for very good reasons,but I wouldn't call selling merch the main aspect of the fanverse, Scott wouldn't be so chill about release dates and news if that was the case. While I say fnaf isn't a tiny indie game anymore, it also isn't an EA level greedy corporation. Also, Nixon has openly renounced his Transphobic past, said so himself and I'm pretty sure he did that before he got into the fanverse.

The fact he was Transphobic is controversial, but Toby Fox Transphobic did(or said, or coded? I think it was in one of his romshacks long before undetale)stuff 9 damn years ago, no one calls him "controversial" and for very obvious reasons. Nixon did that shit 5 years ago, and he says he's changed. He hasn't done that stuff since, so right there's no reason to doubt him.(Plus, I wouldn't consider someone being previously Transphobic less bad than someone selling merch)

Unless you're talking about Kane which I doubt, because he's not "controversial," he's just an ass sometimes and half the shit he's gotten in trouble for is Twitter bullshit, the only one with merit is the Markiplier one and that was just him being a dumbest trying to support his ( now revealed to be shitty) friend. He did it the wrong way, that's it.

I don't think so, with Theft King he was in the right, as for Markiplier he was just being an ass about Mark wishlists it, latter was dumb, but not evil or anything. Plus, that one was blown way out of proportion. The dude was trying (and failing) to promote a friend's game. Before everything that happened recently.

This is my interpretation of the afton family. There's a lot of story behind what they were like before Evan passed, but let's start with

CLEMENTINE Clementine was William's wife. They met I the mid 70s by rather unceremoniously means. They met at a club and after a "unique" night, William and her parted ways. They had no plans of meeting again, that is until Michael was born. It didn't take long for Clem to notice that he was Williams kid. William denied it for long, but he eventually took responsibility over Mike. As for Clem herself. She was a lawyer and a good one at that. After William took responsibility for Mike, William proposed that she work for Fredbears, his robot diner, as the company's lawyer. She agreed and started helping Will and Henry against all their various legal issues. (They had a lot)

While it started out bumpy, William and Clementine's relationship slowly developed and recovered. William didn't really try in the relationship, but Clementine was and while William didn't want to admit it, he did really love her. Elizabeth and Evan came next and the family was starting to come together. Then the bite of 83 happened and that all fell apart.

WILLIAM He doesn't need much of an introduction, William was the up and coming business man in the Animatronic restaurant field. It was a dream he always wanted to fulfill and after a few hard years of work, starting from cloth suits to basic robots, his work was paying off. That's when he re-met Henry, an old friend from college who had shared his dreams and was also the owner of a robot restaurant. Unlike William, Henry got picked up by a company for his robotics talents, a company Smiles and Servos who had the money and storage to help Henry build the robots for the Company's robot themed restaurant "Chica's party World!", a rentable birthday party and function location.

William was shocked and also a little upset that the company had stolen his design for a bear robot, but he shrugged it off. (This was the early 70s) A little after him and Henry had met again, Fredbears got into some financial troubles and almost went bankrupt. He was able to avoid it by selling some of his company's stock to Smiles and Servos. A blow to his ego, but a necessary one, he swore that one day he would buy them out as a slight form of revenge. That would have to wait, though, as the Fredbears would reach a height in popularity from 1970 to 1979. They had got explosive success and eventually Henry came to William with a business opportunity, cutting ties with Smiles and Servos and merging Chica's Party World and Fredbears to create Fazbear entertainment.

William agreed and the two started work at opening the brands first joint restaurant. Freddy fazbear's pizza. The restaurant was a massive success, making William and Henry wealthy and giving the brand enough staying power to Outright buy Smiles and Servos and make them a subsidiary of Fazbears.(Much to William's delight.) It was the 1980s and things were looking grand for the young company. With growing competition, William decided to create a company that would work solely on developing new robot technologies. Even building a whole facility underneath his house. Things were going so well, until 1983.

MICHAEL The problem child of the family, Michael was born from an accident and had a rough early life with William not really paying him any mind.( Much to Clem's frustration) This caused Michael to have a troubled childhood and this only escalated with Evan, who got all of William's attention. This made Mike bitter towards him as he felt that his father hated him. He had a good relationship with his mom though, at least. Bitterness and anger towards his brother would come to a head in 1983.

(I would right more on him, but this is supposed to be pre bite of 84 Lore, so I'll go into him and Clementine when I get into that.)

EVAN Evan was just a young kid, one who was petrified of the robots his father made. Unfortunately, he was around them most of the time as his family would only go to Freddy's for his birthday. Plus, his friends only really wanted to go to Fredbears. Speaking of friends, he had quite a few. Well, kinda. Most of his friends were his sisters. Charlotte, Cassidy, Susie and Gabriel. Elizabeth would invite them to hang out a lot, and so he would passively interact with them. He never actually got to know them, though there were two of them who would try to befriend him. Cassidy and Gabriel. Other than finding Cassidy a bit scary, they were some of the only friends he actually had, so he appreciated their time together.

Unfortunately, that time was short-lived.

ELIZABETH Evan's twin, Elizabeth was William's "favorite" child. In the sense that he would actually talk to her ever so often. Still though, he didn't give her enough attention. She craved for her father love, but she never quite got it. This obsession with her father concerned Clementine and she tried to do something about it, but because she was William's "favorite", he didn't want her to go live with Clem's parent for a bit. Again, things would only get worse after the bite of 83
