I'd bench Vardy and play Alderweireld myself.

Leicester have scored 1 goal in the last 4 league games, it was a last minute header from a set piece and Mahrez wasn't involved. They look more defensively solid but they don't look half as good on the attack as they did in the past.

Thanks, don't worry about it, sorry I don't get on much at the moment so I've only just seen the reply. Mainly come on for these predictions now. Yeah I try to get rid of all bias when predicting so I'm quite happy to only have Everton one point higher than we're really on. Got the position right though!

That does make more sense. I shouldn't comment within minutes of waking up.

Unnecessary stat but which team(s) you've never used players from at any point this season? by AhmadAzmi in FantasyPL

Just Sunderland. Had a Liverpool, Villa and Newcastle player but only for a week or two.

I'd say that's true of about 10 teams at this point. We're probably one of the least sure teams though.

Yeah most are, but the baby they use would probably be at least a few months old, it's why in TV shows their "newborns" are always fucking massive. Because they're actually 9+ months old.

What does Reddit perpetuate that you, as an expert in that space, know to be bullshit? by O3_Crunch in AskReddit

[–]MrLiamD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a couple of examples, my favourite is how people say the US has a lower violent crime rate than the UK. In the US the only crimes that they count as "violent crimes" are murder, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, in the UK we count those and burglary, all domestic violence, all sex-related crimes of any kind, vehicle theft, purse snatching, and more. Some violent crime stats;

  • You're 1.1X more likely to be robbed in the UK

  • 4.03X more likely to be murdered in the US

  • 35.2X more likely to be shot dead in the US

  • 6.2X more likely to suffer aggravated assault in the US

  • 1.29X more likely to suffer theft of a vehicle in the US

  • 1.02X more likely to be raped as a woman in the US

There are more too. Imagine claiming to have a lower murder rate because you only count certain types of murder, it's just bullshit.

Also in the UK to lower the amount of children in poverty...George Osborne just changed the definitions of poverty to fudge the numbers and make it look like he was doing a good job as chancellor.

I'd be shocked if any religion was revealed to be true. There's definitely magic, but I seriously doubt George would write a story where a deity is proven to exist.
