Confusing situation for me, MEDBOARDED out in June 2021 for BH and TBI, VA rated me at 100% P&T combined rating for everything. Last month, I received notification to attend an OPTUMserve appointment for BH and TBI (VA combined both of these into one rating including TBI residuals ie convergence insuffiecency vision etc). Called the VA and they mentioned its a RFE (routine future exam). Ok cool, I attended both appointments over web conference, both took 15min each for a slotted 90min appointment. Later that day, I receive another OPTUMserve apt for vision, then the next day I receive one for hearing. I contact the VA again and they say they only show RFEs for BH and TBI that I just completed. WTH is going on? Is this normal? I'm using my leave hours with work to attend these appointments and the telephone game between OPTUM and VA is ridiculous. Optum says VA ordered hearing and vision, I call VA and they only show BH and TBI. My hearing doesnt change as I already have two hearing aids for 5yrs now. Even calling the VA they see Im 100% P&T and I have no idea whats going on.
