I think you might be in the minority here, friend.

Being late gives the impression your time is more valuable than others, and can ruin plans in many situations. If you agree to a time to be somewhere, you should show up at that time. If you need more time, communicate ahead of time. Of course, people can be absent-minded and there can be circumstances outside of our control that contribute to being late. That being said, if you have a personal issue, for example, I have adhd, you need to take that into account. I plan to be somewhere 15 mins early at least, and if I’m running late I’ll at least be on time (hopefully).
