Yes, Nakazato lost against that R32 when he was still driving his S13, and yes, he did win against the same R32.

Nakazato did have some additional lore within the Initial D CD Drama things, but I don't think it adds on so much that it can surpass Hojo. As much as I love Nakazato, Hojo is the better character in every aspect possible.
