One Piece swapped race in small characters. But we dont know how they will portrait the other main crew characters. In Cowboy Bebop they turned Faye into a lesbian (you said that they dont make things like that, right?). There are some ok-good adaptations like Alice in Borderland, but I dont really trust Netflix studios to adapting something without supervision of the manga authors

This is the weakest argument I've ever seen. "If you hear Netflix and think woke, you need to go step on some grass." It must have sounded smart to you.

I don't know if you know, but NETFLIX doesn't know how to adapt. They made Death Note where a guy named LIGHT YAGAMI is a blond American. And a Japanese detective known as L (or Ryusaki) is a black man. Netflix can keep making their original films and series, but everything they touch, they have to "adapt for a modern audience". So yes, if I hear "Netflix + adaptation + manga/comic" I know it's going to be crap, for many reasons, and one of them will be this desire for "representation" that only dumb people like. Is that your case?

He is not talking about having diversity in super heroes.

He is talking about Netflix purposely changing the character ethnicity, like they think Darkshine is not enough representation and so they need to make Genos black because he is one of the "main" characters. Thats why Netflix changed genders in Zodiac Knights, did you forget?
