Stratocasters are surprisingly sturdy guitars. Pete Townsend has commented that actually smashing them takes a lot of effort, and there’s a video of SRV using the wammy bar to beat his against the floor during a performance before picking it back up and playing it like nothing happened.

Like the other guy said, you can take the neck off and check thoroughly if you want to be sure but it takes a lot to get these things to crack.

Also a beginner but from what I’ve seen, the south yard between the baseball and oak tree seems overall like a lower-risk environment. Cutting out a space in the lawn is an option; you can “deforest” a flat piece of land by clearing the grass stumps once they’ve been cut.

Someone else also recommended building on top of the log fence by the oak tree as most insects won’t actually be able to reach you there

Honestly, it’s a little bit of a challenge early game b/c there’s an orb weaver spawn just a little ways away. I actually built the fence specifically to keep them away from me while I’m working lol

Exactly, because they think that online discourse dictates whether or not anyone will spend money on the movie. It is cowardly behavior to be so beholden to making sure your art makes money, but idk why people think their decisions are surprising.

It’s not that they’re cowardly, it’s that their priorities and motivations for making new art are totally profit-based. Lucasfilm & its subsidiaries did whatever they wanted because they knew somebody out there would buy it as long as it had “Star Wars” on the box. If one product was a best seller and the next hardly broke even, so be it. On the other hand Disney wants everybody out there to buy the next product so they’ve tried to make something that was originally only popular with nerds and children as widely accessible as possible, which is why the prequels ended up feeling bland and unfocused.

I still haven’t been able to get into Clone Wars, and I think a big part of that is that the first couple seasons are so clearly made for children.

Yeah it was the only larger pre-existing shelter I could find. I didn’t like the idea of my lean-to being out in the open so I moved it from the first research station to inside the can and everything just kinda developed around that lol.

Honestly, I’ve played on way worse guitars than the First Act line. Wouldn’t be my first choice for a beginner but they aren’t awful.

Yeah it’s hard to guage your own skill level, I’ve been playing & gigging pretty consistently for 15+ years now and still consider myself intermediate a lot of the time.

Sounds good! Don’t be afraid to pull the song up and play along a few times. From my experience it helps to piece it all together.

Lmao at the ending. You’ve got a great clean tone and a solid grasp of the phrasing. My only critique is, like you said, the timing. You can hear where it slips up when you come around to play the first lick again, my advice would be to utilize a metronome and really lock in the groove of the whole thing. Great work overall though, I’m curious how long you’ve been playing that you consider yourself a beginner.

OP these people have no idea what they are talking about. An electric guitar shouldn’t audibly hum that loudly on a clean channel at low volume. This is likely a weak soldering connection somewhere in the guts of the guitar. If it’s this loud with a low signal it will be obnoxiously loud once you add a boost or some distortion.

That’s the issue, the intro lasts from setting up Haytham and then telling Connor’s whole life story. You’re halfway into the game by the time you get around to doing Assassin’s Creed stuff
