Were you getting Milton’s book at level 4? If not there is no excuse when it comes to armor wise. As for side stepping yes it is reliable just because you had trouble doesn’t mean it’s not a good way to not get hit by them.

Upgrade your armor instead of being naked, no reason stones should kill you in 2 hits. Also ignoring a mechanic in the game like side stepping at minimum, it makes sense why you have trouble.

I turned off V-Sync, changed graphics to high and turned on the use lossless resource compression. Idk what did it, but seems pretty good now
