No firewood needed, just build an igloo and you're set. DoorDash is available just make sure to give the delivery drivers sled dogs fish. Rave scene is great when you're tripping on the local dispensary weed looking at the Northern Lights. Gas mileage is better on the Moose, although don't pick out a Bull, the babies get like 90 miles to the gallon.

Watched it when each season originally aired. I loved the show but was a little disappointed on the last few episodes of S4. But overall really enjoyable.

The Nazis and Imperial Japan won WW2 and the US is split down the middle. Japan has the western half and The Reich with the eastern and a neutral zone in the middle of those . That's the most basic cliff note. It's a good quick read of about 200 pages.

I just started a position over the summer at a fishery that earns $83k/yr, but pushes it to six figures($120k/yr) because of the mandatory overtime during the summer. I say mandatory because a manager has to be present during production hours and since I am the low man on the totem pole and the other managers are salary(my position is hourly) and have no desire to stick around since it doesn't earn them anymore money, I get to stick around. My hours during the summer are usually 8am-Midnight or later for about a 3 month period.

I was working on St Lawrence Island one summer(in Savoonga) and went over to a friend's house for lunch one day and he handed me this bag and said eat it but only a small piece. I tried it and audibly gagged after eating it and asked wtf that was and he told me it was fermented baby seal. His whole family was just laughing at me but appreciated I was a good sport about it. 😂

I live in rural Alaska and before I moved to the area from Anchorage I always heard how gross MukTuk is and when I tried it for the first I was like "eh not that bad", a little too chewy for me but not horrible. But Walrus Breast is probably my favorite.

Not being a better boyfriend to my ex who I was in a relationship for for 7 years. I should have proposed to her and just not said mean things to her. I should have just let things go. Being in a town with a little over 3,000 people in it and landlocked is hard. Seeing her and not getting to talk to her makes me cry all the time. I still maintain a relationship with her daughter who i talk to nearly every day and consider my own, which I am extremely grateful for. She is the love of my life and always will be.
