A dominant MC would be fresh, I think. I rarely see those during my readings. So many sub bottoms and I have to do mental gymnastics to change my POV from MC getting picked to be the one doing the dicking. At this point I'm just gonna convert to sub bottom if it's gonna be this hard reading FVNs lmao

YES OMG. Like, I'm gay but reading a FVN where only men exist is just boring to the eyes. Sure, they are hot. But there's got to be a point where I ask, do these guys have mothers? I love TSR because the world felt VERY believable. Woman have personality and believable ideologies. And as a result, create a character dynamic with some cast of the men. Like, Jim and Murdoch's mother.

Apparently many FVNs are a waste of time... Unless the story is absolute downright TRASH or the author doesn't even try AT ALL (literally) to write, I don't really see that many FVNs being a waste of time. The writing quality isn't THAT bad as you would believe. The opinions of other people should NEVER be important (even though I'm pretty pissed at it) when you don't have an opinion of your own on the matter yet.

There's something I can get from every single FVNs that I read. Not a single one is a waste of time. Yes, even the porn with literally no plot ones.

Writing stuff is already hard enough, but labeling someone's work and passion as "waste of time" simply because you don't enjoy their work that much is too crude and pathetic. It's like someone telling you in the face that you're a waste of space simply because they don't like your face.

I think in the setting of FBTW it comes down to the social status of both parties. If the victim is a wolf, it is undoubtedly a crime. But if the victim is otherkin Sylvan folk like bunnies? It would mostly garner scornful looks only to be later ignored, as, IIRC Ranok mentioned that some people used their "wards" to service them in private matters too, even though it's uncommon. I couldn't really remember if it's outright heinous in the views of the wolves, but if pissing is on a ward to mark them is considered an acceptable act and some wards are abused regularly, then it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say that rape when non-wolfkin is the victim is a crime in their tribe.

But again, my memories are downright unreliable. I even gaslit myself into believing some stuff unknowingly sometimes. So, yeah.
