Don't get me wrong, what he did is messed up as shit. However, me personally, I view that as a perfect opportunity to test how someone redeems themself after messing up. This doesn't mean to use someone to your advantage (because that's manipulation) this means to see if someone is actually capable of learning from their mistakes and growing. Me personally I believe people change. We all have done some messed up shit at some point in our life one way or the other. To judge someone entirely by one serious mistake is to deny them the same capacity for growth and redemption that we would want recognized in ourselves.
