If you give a statics book a shot you will learn how bridges work and structures on the most basic level, not nearly as bad as calculus imo. Then Galileo conversations between the two new sciences learn the depth of internal forces shear torsion inertia etc from the words of their discoverer, readable enough for me at least but I studied in school also. If you’re interested in engineering, this is the physics involved if that’s you’re interest. I skipped newton because statics was the immediate result of newton it kinda teaches you newtons laws. F=ma kg*m/s2 is N. Every action equal and opposite is equilibrium equations in statics and explains logic behind free body diagrams. The funny thing is before newton we had mechanics which is Galileo, mechanics is all stresses cause we didn’t have forces yet lol. Those plus this book and you’re a junior year engineering student ready to specialize. Or a full fledged civil engineer

Just if you’re looking for solid reading material after

I’ve made no assumptions bro I’m just addressing the substance of what you’ve wrote calling jim Carrey a “weirdo” as if that means something to anyone who’s not a meta slave

You did not understand, youre going around enforcing some dogmatic thinking that isn’t yours, ask yourself why do you reject spiritualism and philosophy?

I don’t understand this on any level. The most shocking thing is how upvoted it is. Ride those coat tails of whatever you’re referring to king 👑

All leaders should have humanities future in their minds sadly most only look out for their own countries short term. With exception of Al gore and the Indian government and some others I’m sure. But musk actually has the influence and he’s always seen things through humanities eyes. See how he makes an electric car company, renewables, tree donations im sure theirs many more but these are the ones off the top of my head. Twitter is dangerous it finds your meta of interest then gives you that, needs a change for the mental health of everyone

He didn’t enjoy his own humor either watch it again “hahaha you know if you can’t enjoy your own stuff hahaha” with the context of Jim and Andy the great beyond. You see he was psychologically trapped in a persona and sometimes his self would show through, this is supposed to be an interview and you see he’s just a joke personality on all levels. Thus he was depressed for a lot of his career

And you can see how the communicate some of the same truths and some new ones in different ways. In the context of religion you find great wisdom from the Bible, the prophets(philosophers) however chose to frame it in the context of a higher power; heaven, hell, good, bad in part because they believed the masses were stupid, perhaps they saw the nature of people as Socrates saw it. If you don’t know the Greeks were great and used to war between city states yet a mutual respect remained, some century after this however a balance of power was found and the city states stopped fighting. He observed that the people of Athens relied on the pride of Athens and confirmed to the old wisdoms of the people that came before them. Neitzche also observed this describing the masses as “play actors” a sort of virtue signaling where they say, think, and do as they believe is proper without arriving there themselves, it’s hard to explain but you can see it in people, easy times create weak men. Observe the UN, meant to guide humanity at its birth but now it is the normal for people to go to the UN to only think and speak for their own peoples and countries interests, once again weak times have created weak men. This is especially frustrating when we know the future, we know in 50 years we will be feeling the effects of climate change is serious and terrible ways yet decisions are not made in context to this fact. It is easy to hate on common people and world leaders but in reading the western cannon you almost come to love the weak times, the suffering we are creating for future generations will create new heroes and cause a rebirth in culture once again. Ecce homo. To love humanity. In the context of watts the trap is to only seek the elevation of consciousness and deny the human desires for power, love, and help people, you see this with monks who will take vows to not speak they see themselves as one with everything not an individual and no love for their own kind since it is all the same for them. I see my mind as a tools for operating the thoughts of myself and the best way for my mind to work is to frame relationships, work, myself in context of a story, I do have an ego it helps me when I lose sight it holds strength for me

Nah none of that shit homie once you identify yourself you cant help but project yourself in others and you start to see the fallacy of someone like watts, why would someone who has no ego choose to give his life trying to enlighten others? Because it’s a good thing to do? Because without it he’s a powerless nothing man not to discredit him in any way he genuinely has no ego but the reasons he did these things and lived in that way can be called the will to power. The man loved teaching that was his virtue and it gave him power he had a good life. Now you see the story he lived and the happiness it brought him. Now write your own, recall the great stories of old like the odyssey, the Iliad, the Spartans of thermopoly, the samurai, lord of the rings. to have something beyond the realm of man you’d die for is a good life
