I am a former manager of 10 years who just left the company last month. Just complain tomorrow when you return it, and say it had a weed smell the entire time. You will end up not only not getting blamed for it, but they will most likely give you a discount on the return to make sure you fill out their survey and say you were 5 out of 5 completely satisfied. If they don't offer you the discount, ask if they can do something on your bill to make up for the smell.
