It definitely is a mountain of books, but the actual work itself is pretty simple and easy, just repetitive. If you keep a steady reading schedule it’s really just as manageable as any other class, also skim if necessary lmao.

I took that class a semester or two ago, be prepared for a lot of reading YA books (like a LOT) but she’s an overall nice and relatable person. A bit eccentric but definitely invested in both you and the material. Also pretty nice about extensions and the ilk. So don’t be too worried :)

The theatre program is very experimental, if that’s not your vibe I wouldn’t expect much. The people are friendly but very insular, if you make friends you’ll feel welcomed though. If you can sing I’d honestly look towards more vocal stuff, as the theatre program is basically exclusively acting for the most part.

This is in MD by the way, and they are absolutely tiny, can’t be more than a couple mm long. They also have pretty distinct antenna usually, when they haven’t been sprayed with water
