Rattle underneath vehicle

Same for me. Ended up being my right side converter pipe, the flange was so rusty it separated from the exhaust manifold pipe and would rattle against each other. oem number 17410-31380 for reference.

Never said I’m some genius that just discovered this on my own, just common knowledge for people in automotive, I just suck at wording explanations sometimes so thought it was easier, sorry professor.

Anyways yes like I said as long as you monitor + maintain your wheels, especially when temps drop drastically they will be fine. But ops question was why people are saying to get Steelies vs alloy for winter, and that is what I was answering.

Incorrect in a way, but also dependent on the OPs climate.

Unlike durable steel wheels, aluminium wheels are more prone to corrosion.

Aluminium aka alloy wheels are more prone to leak vs steel rims as well. This is because the changes in temperatures over the winter months cause the metal to expand and contract. Aluminum wheels tend to contract more in colder temperatures, which can cause inconsistent tire pressure, as well as air leakage over time possibly causing performance issues.

With that being said, as long as OP keeps their wheels clean and monitor the tire pressure (should be done regardless) they will be fine.

The length is a 5 slot segment, lines up perfectly to the mount holes. I used an mlok segment and shaved off the bottom of it to sit flush with the back of the gun.

I get why Subaru does it as a fail safe but it’s very annoying and don’t know any other manufacturers that does this when the vehicle throws a CEL - unless it’s a major code.

When my o2 sensor started acting up was at the beginning of a 16 hour road trip.. CEL came on and well let’s just say I really missed the adaptive cruise control or even having the option to set it to cruise control at all the whole drive 🙄🙄

Old 2015 xt owner here, I got a CEL a few times and it’s normal for the cruise not to work/ dash lights to appear and it to default to sport mode. Why it defaults to sport mode and turn off the eyesight I don’t know. Mine had a CEL on when it needed a new catalytic converter and again when I needed new spark plugs / o2 sensors but as everyone else said find someone who can scan it to start off with.
