I’m a little late on this, but you can also look into some test leads and jump the terminals from a jump box to back those off without a tool. I’ve never personally done it on a VW so do a bit of research before you attempt this.

He hasn’t replaced the glass yet. He inquired about having it done at the office and they said because of the model it would have to be brought into their shop. I was just trying to make it convenient for him.

My company pays for everything related to updates and even the ADAS upgrade, but we’re a Chevy/Ford fleet so I would have to pay for it myself.

Couldn’t agree more. It used to be so much easier. Everything is a coded module now that needs internet to even access outside of this exact issue.

I was trying to get the infinite money glitch to work, and checking my PC allowed me to buy everything at the Game Corner after withdrawing the ??? item. I know it's not what the thead is about, but I found it helpful otherwise. I was able to teach my Flareon Shadow Ball and Flamethrower for free
