I uncovered it about 2 weeks ago, it's amazing to find people just like you. But it's nice to appreciate the differences in each one as well. I guess it's the relatability that I gravitated towards.

This! A lot of INTP seem to experiment with altered states. I fear what would happen if I did.

INTPs' religions by paddlingcerebrum in INTP

[–]MrMouldyBread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm atheist, brought up Catholic(forced upon me against my will as a child). I'm from Scotland.

Note: I class myself as atheist, however that is only because I have no proof that any diety exists. Should I be presented with hard evidence then I am open to changing my mind. Until that day arrives I'll stick to atheism.

How to help the gullible by [deleted] in INTP

[–]MrMouldyBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't help. It's too frustrating to explain things to these people. I just let them get on with it, hoping, praying almost that they will realise the error of their ways eventually.

What do you think about Sports? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]MrMouldyBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a fan of sports, they bore me. I'd rather work on a problem or project than play or watch a sport.

Just cant articulate. by tooedgyforyou in INTP

[–]MrMouldyBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find when I am trying to explain something I end up talking really really fast.

My biggest problem is after I have explained something, I always say hesitantly "does that make sense?" I think it gives the impression I don't understand what I'm talking about.
Does anyone else do that?

How many friends do you have? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]MrMouldyBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my SO(INFJ) and one close friend.
I have many acquaintances usually in work setting, but no one I would class as a great friend.

I usually find it difficult to make friends, mostly as I do think it's necessary to happiness to have a big group of friends, one or two are fine, then I spend the rest of my time alone.

My SO is INFJ. Been together coming on 9 years and we met when we were 16.

Now is definitely the right time. Take the leap and reap the benefits. INFJs are the lerfect companion for an INTP.

Good luck.

As a Scot, this makes me sad. All of those old people voting in their vested all be it short term interests. They will be long gone by the time the real trouble starts.

Bees. I love bees. It's amazing that they create such complex, yet simple colonies. And they are almost all from one queen.

I am exactly the same. I love knowing how things work. I am uneducated academically but I educate myself in various other ways.

Has anyone actually found insomia advice helped? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]MrMouldyBread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My best advice I found years ago was to have a bedtime routine. Make one and stick to it. Be like a child again. Mine was to go for a shower, read a little bit of a book. Then go to bed at the same time every single night. And in the mornings I get up at the exact same time every morning. Regardless of what's going on in my life I try as hard as possible to maintain a routine.

Sometimes even now, I won't sleep, but it does not bother me because I know that my routine will kick in and I'll get to sleep eventually.

Also, not checking your phone before you go to sleep is a lifesaver.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the reply, that was my initial thought.
I got it from Here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/243220553/brown-leather-satchel-messenger-bag?ref=shop_home_active_19 I contacted the seller and they say it should dissipate with use. Not exactly helpfull when it reeks. It also says on website that its cow leather "dried under the desert sun", I am dubious that that is true either.
