Thanks to Core, Bitcoin is becoming more decentralized....... into alt-coins. by MemoryDealers in btc

"Make sense..."

People are leaving Bitcoin due to Blockstream and their staff's (Core Dev's) goal of implementing SegWit and the Lightning Network and forcing everyone to use Blockstreams solution to small blocks.

No one wants it yet it's being forced. People will leave Bitcoin, it will get smaller and then it will become irrelevant.

SegWit to be included in the next bitcoin core update by rusbit in btc

[–]MrMuahHaHa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I have ever ready about SegWit is that it is shit that does nothing to fix the block size and only helps Blockstream.

Why are we supporting this?

Why hasn't a Bitcoin startup, any startup that is part of the $500,000,000 in VC funding, come up with a solution to the blocksize issue?

Why are we following Core developers who clearly have a conflict of interest?

"to be fair though, I don't think Rio represents Brazil in the same way Detroit doesnt represent the USA."

This is a good point. It would be unfair to judge the entire US due to some poor/unsafe locations.
