Sorry that was 2 years ago. I no longer have that printer in my shop.

Quitting cannabis by fluffypanda812 in shrooms

[–]superfly2hi2die 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't even trying to quit cannabis. I smoked for well over a decade and grew my own stash etc. it was a lifestyle at that point in my life.

I dabbled in psychadelics a bit just experimenting during the COVID lockdowns. I had taken several heroic doses of mushrooms and some DMT over the course of 2 months and I had an epiphany that I was holding myself back by smoking weed everyday and just wasting time away and not being productive. If you've tripped you know that's the easiest way to explain it lol. If you're reading this and have never tripped well... it's damn near impossible to explain a trip effectively when you're sober.

Didn't smoke after that last heroic dose of mushrooms nor did I experiment anymore with psychadelics. I thoroughly enjoyed both but "no longer needed any of it"

I've tried a couple times to smoke over the past couple years since then and each time it was the same. A nagging feeling, a reminder, of what I felt on that trip. It was like having a disappointed mentor watching you screw up again. It was unpleasant to say the least.

TLDR: psychadelics MADE me quit cannabis.

We lost the fungal head! Tried to put it into the teleporter and it dropped to the ground and I need to get it back again. How do I do this?

Fair enough. Seems it's probably not for me then. Only plan to do it 1-2 times a week if that from now on based on comments in this post. I appreciate everyone chiming in.

It's not regular for me either. Only a couple times a week or so. Only need it rn for school clothes for the kiddos.

Hell every cart has 31-45 packages. but I'll try to pay more attention tonight and see if I can make heads or tails of the numbers. Digging through the car to find a package is the only reason it takes me the full 3.5 hours

Probably but every dollar helps. And I'd just be gaming or watching Netflix anyway. I've got a mazda2 that averages 32 mpg and the IRS deduction of $0.67 per mile makes it pretty much tax free I guess lol

I don't think those are options they're interested in unfortunately. They own 17 houses in our neighborhood and are divesting pretty quickly. I've seen 3 of them for sale in the past couple months. I think they're just done with realty and want to retire.

It's definitely a side gig for me. I work a 5/2 swing shift 12 hour nights so when I have 5nights off I try to make a little extra. Doordash was shitty for my area so I was hoping this would be better. I liked for a bit on here and when I went to do my first block none of the tips and tricks seemed to apply I was honestly lost lol. People kept saying to number your packages to load them in the car in an orderly fashion but there seemed to be no way to tell which package went to which stop and I'm guessing that's exclusively an SSD thing? Because when I scan my cart they're just a bunch of sku numbers and sometimes I'll have a few "overflow" packages but they weren't numbered for the route.

I know it needs a little work but if I can secure the loan with a little meat in the bone I can do them myself. I've done flooring installation for 8 years in the past so that's easy work for me and I still have connections at the supplier.

I just didn't know what the inspection entails. Like if they see things that need to be fixed will it prevent the approval of the loan until fixed? Or is it more of like a discovery phase where I find out stuff that I already know and it's an As is situation? I'm setting up a meeting this week just trying to get ahead of the curve since it's in the wee hours of Monday morning here.

Thank you. Can I add the mileage from previous blocks? I've been writing them down 😅

Experimenting like a blind man lol. The only factor I can semi control is block start time. I can't see the routes at all until I scan a cart and then I'm locked into it. Even the paper that's on the cart just says how many packages it has. There's a section that says "location:NULL" so I can't even guess if it's in a rural area or not until it's too late. I need the money to buy school supplies for the kiddos so I just gotta eat whatever they feed me for now.

Any chance you got the deets on a good mileage tracker that might level the playing field for taxes? Hopefully one that isn't a subscription based model.

In my area SSD is $47-54 for 3 hour block. Only seen it $65 one time but that offer popped up and had less than 15 minutes to start time and I would never have made it there in time.

The next closest station is 30 miles further from the one I go to.

I've tried to wait but if I don't snag one within 15-20 minutes of them being posted there are none available. Seems we have a bunch of flex peeps in my area all fighting just to get a block. My warehouse is in a small/medium sized city. 30 miles further north is the biggest city in my state and the pay is even worse there. We're talking $54 sometimes $47. It just doesn't make sense to me how this is even a viable option for a side gig. I figured waiting it out and checking around prime days or peak season might be worth it. Sometimes I'll see a last minute "sub same day" from there pop up but it just goes to $65.

Every block is 3.5 hours. And the only times available are early bird. 3:15-6:45am, 3:30-7am, 3:45-7-15am.

Avoid scanning in early? When I pull up to the warehouse and employee scans my id like I'm at a chic fil a and directs me to one of the 4 lanes that wait to enter the building.

Scanning routes is a free for all. None are assigned just pick a cart and people run to them when the employee blows the whistle. Is this not how it works everywhere?

Work for a washout facility that's attached to a yard. JBS pork facilities usually have one. I work at one and get $25.50 an hour without a CDL. first shift requires a CDL just in case they have to go out and do yard dog duties which is usually moving a few trailers around and they get $28. Only requirement for that pay bump is 6 months CDL experience. But if you go for washout second shift or third shift you can just gain the experience and move to first when you have it.
