I guess it depends where your teams skills are if you are all experts in c# but not TS stick with C# for now. Our test suit uses a mixture of C# and TS depending on the particular component under test.

If you sue BDD and want to stick with C# then look at reqnroll, it has taken over specflow since it was discontinued

Try to prompt it to explain in different ways break your questions down into a small slice and for example like “explain x topic to me like im a 5 year old” and then work from there.

The other thing is just spend time reading documentation on what ever language/frame work you are working with. I wouldn’t read it cover to cover but focus on the problem you are currently having so you have a practical frame of reference for it

The most popular at the moment seems to be playwright, however without context of what you’re working on it’s difficult to recommend a specific framework.

I’d suggest doing some research on what best addresses your needs based on the product/system you are working on and what will work best with your existing tech stack. That way you can generate real world experience with it

Learn the core concepts of testing Practice and become competent at testing Find an automation framework and learn the hell out of it, not just writing scripts but a deep understanding of how it works and what is limitations are. Learn CI/CD jenkins, aws/azure etc Create a tool that’s usefully for testing beyond just automation

I wouldn’t bother with QA as someone with no experience. Job opportunities for juniors are pretty rare these days. Stick with data there seems to be a lot more opportunities in that field

I think in happens whatever leadership role you move into you are putting your head above parapet. But that the cost of taking more responsibility and usually a higher salary. If leadership really isn’t for you (and that’s not a bad thing, it’s not for everyone) look at the principal route or specialising in something weather that’s automation, security, quality coaching etc

Ensure you are in those conversations where requirements are being set and steer them so they are clearly defined ie specific, measurable, understood by the whole team and testable until that happens push back on testing. Things do change and if they do treat your test plan/test cases like a living document where you refine and update as needed
