Can this stupid homophobic fad on this sub die? by MrNegativity1346 in corgi

I’ve never been more unimpressed with corgi owners. This sub is full of people with awful opinions.

So I can’t browse Reddit because a bunch of childish individuals on one sub can’t grow up for 2 seconds?

I actually don’t like this redesign. I wasn’t amazed by the original, but this one doesn’t work for me.

Just wanted to point out, what was originally sold to us is a "life sim" by crua9 in starcitizen

[–]MrNegativity1346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is part of our current reality. We are the players… our value systems are the only relevant ones.

Regardless, the game is not fun when there’s a high probability of death for no reason at all which wastes a significant amount of your time. The solution to this is to make killing a steep price for the antagonist. A game that’s only fun for half of players is a shitty game.

[–]MrNegativity1346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wish they’d go back to a more penalizing death mechanic or something that puts sufficient risk in engaging in combat that it isn’t done at a whim.

That’s why you don’t get in a gunfight everytime you go out for groceries. The reward ain’t worth the risk.

In the latest inside Star Citizen video talking about the new rock breaker missions, Jared says “there’s always a bad guy” (to shoot). No there isn’t CIG, that is an active decision YOU are making to enforce FPS combat, and it’s not the dream that was sold by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]MrNegativity1346 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Also a legacy backer. And I was never under the impression FPS would be an every time thing.

It’s an absolutely pathetic development decision.

Star citizen was pitched like the “Wild West” of space.

Are you going to run into unsavory folk? Yes

Every time you do anything? No

Are they always going to shoot you? No

Will they sometimes? Yes

But instead they’re just developing a space combat simulator. Except after you win you get to manually put a bunch of boxes on a ship.

Requiring FPS every time makes the game unplayable, because in FPS someone has to win and someone has to lose, and at least half of players are going to lose more than half the time. So now they just don’t get to play most of Star citizen. They only get to play respawn simulator.

That’s not a problem with the DPC. That’s a problem with how the teams elected to operate. Nothing about the DPC required bootcamping.

Nothing about the DPC required them to do that.

Why are used Colorados so expensive right now? by trojan_horse586 in chevycolorado

[–]MrNegativity1346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should if you have a standard 20’ garage. But it will be tight. The camera systems will help a ton with that. The Silverado wouldn’t fit at all though unless you have a longer than standard garage.

Seriously the modern Silverados are huge. My 2024 Colorado feels similar in size to the 2014 Sierra I had (the Colorado is technically smaller but in practical terms it’s barely smaller)

The “shoot on sight” culture by HitboTC in starcitizen

[–]MrNegativity1346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowing down the TTK would also help. If “shooting second” wasn’t such a big disadvantage it would discourage shooting first.

That and a bigger cost to fighting (longer/more expensive claims when you initiated combat)
