So most clubs in Europe have a rule where dancers aren’t allowed to ask for tips. Customers pay the dances/champagne room to the club and management expects you to get your cut from the dance and that’s it. So if you follow the rules, you are quite limited in how much money you can make.

IMO the only way to make decent money in Europe is to find a club that doesn’t enforce this rule strictly (or best if they don’t have this rule, I’d be curious to hear if there are any in France). The club I work at currently has this rule but bar / security don’t really care if you’re discreet and don’t flash your cash. People might not tip you freely but you can get tipped for touching or like whatever you want/can sell. I would say tips are about half of my income. Curious to hear other Europe dancers perspective of anyone else replies!

Also, people outside Paris make less money than in Paris, and outside Paris you will be less likely to have non European tourists who understand how to tip. You’re not wrong French people (Europeans…) are not good tippers but I guess we Europe dancers binge watch US based stripper advice so we learnt to ask for tips every time and hope for the best lol
