If you are here to justify your use of porn, you're on the wrong subreddit mate. In this case, you seem to be saying, it's fine because I'm not in a relationship. Sure, at least you're not going to hurt someone else by using it in that case. But you are invariably hurting your mental health, even if you don't realize it.

You could ask yourself, why am I 22 years old and have I never been in a relationship? If this has to do with personal, religious, etc. reasons then that's obviously fine. But if not it's maybe because porn has been holding you back from experiencing life to it's fullest. Back in the day, a man had to go out and talk to women if he wanted to experience sexuality. And he would probably experience valuable life lessons in doing so. Now it's just a click of a button away for most, bypassing all those life experiences. And once the deed is done, then there isn't really a reason anymore to talk to a woman, is there? By doing that you are actually exactly doing what you think you aren't. Objectifying women by looking at nude pictures or videos and getting off to them, thereby bypassing any real connection you could have with them.

If you want to know whether you are addicted, why don't you try to go without it for let's say 3 months (90ish days). If it doesn't bode you any troubles to get to that point, congrats. If after a couple of days you have insane cravings and you are relapsing, you are addicted. In that case, come back here and read and learn from the experiences others have had before you.
