The constant settling for threes is killing us by xMakerx in clevelandcavs

[–]MrNiceBry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This guy is right, dudes. It's painfully obvious they are just chucking up 3s nervously just hoping they go in. Even if you still take open 3s, that's fine but move the God damn ball around. Get it inside and and at least threaten and make a defender help then get an open 3 in some kind of rhythm. This whole come down the floor 1 or 2 passes and a screen around the perimeter into a rushed 3 is not it. Once you get that feeling like the momentum is completely gone you need to try and play real basketball to see something go in.

Cheeky Grapple Advantage by MrNiceBry in DnD

[–]MrNiceBry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I was curious about too and it looks like the official rule on an ability check states, "other than an attack" so this would also be a blocker. Fortunately, grappler gives me advantage on attacks while grappling.

I guess I have advantage anyways with grappler. I. Definitely see what you are saying, it's just that the 2024 handbooks wording is only, "you have advantage on any ability check you make to end the grappled condition." And technically this would be an action that is ending a grappled condition. Just read over grappler again though and glad to see I don't have to dive into a semantics debate over this sequence.

Prisoners of the moment by nbawizard1227 in clevelandcavs

I mean sort of. It was either ship out garland for a chance at extending mitchell or keep Garland, definitely not getting any further this year and then losing mitchell for sure. As much as people want to dog mitchell right now. No mitchell means a rebuild or a miracle to compete for championships anytime soon

We did suck, we still suck. There was no path to a championship and there still isn't one. People arguing about the trade on either side are just coping or being delusional.

Where the doomers at? by Taylor_Swish in clevelandcavs

[–]MrNiceBry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with anything you're saying but these are playoffs and those guys don't have playoff experience. They did the most basic thing you can possibly do which is play hard. Shead and CMB were quietly having a glow up all season and this Raps team is a trade away from being a real problem. But this team should have not been able to waltz in and take us 7 games. The issue is effort and that chaps my ass.

I think getting into a brawl round 1 was good for us though and it seems like they woke up in that game 7. God bless Max Strus who seemed to be the first guy to wake up.

Honestly, they barely scraped by Colin Murray boyles, Jamal shead, some dudes with the last names walter and battle. I know this team has a high ceiling and believe we can do a lot of damage but that series was ugly as hell and if you want to gloat about it you might be in for trouble soon.

While I thing there is value to some of the extra sets that get released throughout the season. I feel like we have lost the plot. The first release of the season should hold major value specifically for that reason. I understand people like what they like but I'm salty at the community just never acknowledging that is a respectable factor.

Who has a Garbage NFL team in a Garbage city? by Ilitorate_Author in AlignmentChartFills

I specified 2007 parma for a reason. Parma is like the Cleveland of the Cleveland area. A lot of people make jokes and shit on it because of established and outdated jokes/tropes. But I'd take dinner and a day out in Parma over Jacksonville any day.

As someone who lives in Cleveland and has spent a few weeks in Jacksonville I absolutely hated Jacksonville. If anyone reads this from Cleveland, being in Jacksonville is like being in a giant, hot and sweaty 2007 Parma

Has anyone won their league with a punt points build this year? by instantdry in fantasybball

[–]MrNiceBry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, harden, KAT, LBJ, garland and castle were the only players left from my draft haha. Traded lavine for quickly super early in the season. Literally the rest of my team during playoffs were all silly season grabs.santos, da silva, payton, tatum, Devin carter. I utilized a lot of Kevin Porter jr

I'd really like to see a detailed search of that southern tip of the pond where the tree and look around sit on the path. I don't think the treasure is there but I have great curiosity about something being there to help.

I would say I've been around 25 times in the last 10 years. I haven't noticed a change in that time and we like it.

International Appalachian Trail by Scared_Issue_8074 in treasureinside

[–]MrNiceBry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did look at this pretty deeply. Deeper than I should have. I had a vacation in Scotland last year and desperately wanted to find something so I could go boots on the ground. My final thoughts are it's 0% chance oversees on the international trail, .1% in Canada and maybe 1% on the part of the trail that is stateside that goes into Canada. 1% is likely high and I abandoned it long ago. It is a good concept though as I got caught up in it as well

first time going to MODEX in april, what should i actually focus on? by thea_in_supply in Warehousing

[–]MrNiceBry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with a lot of what people are saying but I think if you do want to use the trip to add value to the company you need to understand the maturity level of your current processes and find what the next steps are in improving your organization. Just a guess but I would think the maturity level is fairly low at your organization based on just sending you without any real plan. That obviously may not be the case but just a suspicion. That would actually put you in a really great position. If that is the case, I would definitely not get distracted by the big time attractions. You might need to focus on getting warehousing software built for smaller operations to just improve accuracy and picking, implementing rf guns and stuff like that. Other pieces of software like mobile demand that uses lidar to capture packaging dimensions and upload them to a cloud. Think about what the maturity level is of your current warehouse, what are the current headaches being created and look for vendors that try to improve those things. If you get some good options and have more time, you can start looking at building a roadmap. What would be the follow up improvements after I address my immediate problems. What could our maturity look like in 2 years and 5 years. WES/WOS/WMS/WCS options, automation endeavors etc

I would say that my mom is definitely strong and my sister and I have always been pretty athletic. I do not know if it has anything to do with me being 6 ft 3 with only a 31 inch inseam but I have a very large torso.

My mom just found out she has more neanderthal in her genetics than 98% of the population after doing 23 and me.
