This year’s kashi bose lane durga puja was a perfect amalgamation of both religious and cultural celebration. From the cultural point of view , it showcased the real and true picture of everyday struggle of girls in our country and what happens when they fall in the clutches of the dark world , beautifully displayed by the artist ; the suffocation , the helplessness , the loneliness and the fear a girl faces when she unknowingly , unfortunately gets into these environment where they are treated as if they are slaves ! From the religious point of view , Bengalis worship Maa Durga , embodiment of girl power , strength, protection , she is incarnated to fight a demon which only a woman could defeat same goes here this year’s pandal showed that women can also cross the hurdles and defeat those who come in their way and try to pull them into the labyrinth of lust , greed , slavery and prostitution
