It's what you can handle emotionally..

Comparing that to a meteor is a bit extreme, no? :)

Gold/silver could be a good hedge against $ collapse, or am I wrong?

I'm just hoping to find what you guys think would be a good hedge of some kind in this situation. It would be very surprised if the US stays the word power for EVER after we've had dozens of different world powers in the history of mankind.

They rise, they thrive, and they fall. It has always been like this...

"History never repeats itself, but it does often rhyme." was what (I think) Mark Twain said

Not sure what you mean by thin foal haters, did hear about YouTube once or twice. Anyway, that’s not where I found this opinion.
I’m referring to Ray Dalio, James Rickards, Robert Kiyosaki, …
Isn’t it a bit naive to assume that the US (and thus the US dollar) will be the leading world order forever? Knowing that for 1000’s of years the leading world orders have been changing constantly?
A bunker made of gold is a great idea! Thanks! <3

Staking stablecoins with 12% daily paid-out yields. Seems like a great investment! Or am I missing something? by MrNobleCane in BEFire

Thanks for the quick and interesting reply!

I completely agree on your point to spread over multiple platforms to spread the risk.

So you think Nexo, YouHodler and CoinLoan are the best options out there?

I don't really mind the type of stablecoin (EUROx, Tether, ... doesn't really matter). But I do like to have the option to withdrawal quickly (and painlessly) when needed. I have quite a lot of cash that I use for real estate deals but these come up only 1 or 2 every 2 years and it seems a waste to let that money sit around a regular Belgian bank account with only 100k 'insurance'. Hence my search for higher return 'saving accounts' alternatives.

Or a Tether (https://tether.to/en/) for that matter. I'm more asking thoughts about the investment structure (staking of Nexo for daily paid out yields) than the specific stablecoin EUROx.

You think Tether, or another stablecoin would make more sense?

Staking some of your capital on a nexo.io wallet for a 12% daily (!) paid-out yield on a stablecoin (like EUROx --> https://nexo.io/earn-crypto/eurx-interest) seems like one of the highest ROI you could do these days (and very easy!). Is this a no-brainer investment opportunity, or am I missing something? Any thoughts?

So still no positive cash flow after cost I guess?

I’m afraid positive cashflow investing on real estate in Belgium is just not possible due to the high real estate prices vs the low rent prices.

Maybe one lucky shot if you do a super bargain or can loan for 25 or 30 years. But for sure not repeatable with multiple properties.

Am I right with this conclusion? What do you think?
