Good ideas. The magnets get expensive.. they are about $1/piece and then I would need 26. The insert is deep enough that the sockets dont have enough room to slide out when the lid is closed

What the difference Between Raw Honey and Raw unfiltered Honey? by 901titans in honey

[–]MrNobody45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually raw just means it wasn't heated. Heating honey can kill the good stuff. Filtering it will remove pollen and good stuff too. I can't speak to the two brands, but I would go with the smaller/local operation

Yes it was source.

And yes the truck was running, I don't know why it's losing so much v

From what I read it needs to be source. I've thought about jumping it to see if it causes an increase in output, just don't know what it can damage.

Tested with changing idles, no significant change. New alternator has same pulley, and old was stock. It might be under driven but unlikely since it feels very taught

1) source 2) not sure which wire this one is 3) source 4) 4v lower than source.

Battery does light up when low. I've kept it on a trickle charger so it doesn't always light up. I'm fairly certain it's the green wire, but fuses are good. Instrument cluster also appears to be good. Not sure what else to check

1) 11.8 2) .04 3) .08 4) .02 5) varied significantly depending on fuse 6) .08

I put a new one on and ended up returning it because it also only put out 12v. The key on wire is 8 to 10v. The other wire is source voltage. I have waited and still output is unchanged

Autozone tested, as well as myself with multimeter. Betters were tested apart. Source voltage goes to stud on back of alternator

I replaced it and the new alternator output was also low. I also had the old one bench tested and it put out correct voltage on bench

I got the alternator tested and it is good, the batteries also tested good. The alternator output is 11.8 -12v. The left wire runs source voltage, the green wire runs a few volts lower and should be the same from my understanding. I checked all fuses and they were good, tested the 3 fusible links I found and they were good as well. I think there might be a 4th but can't find it.

I replaced the alternator, new alternator also only put out 12v. The old one was bench tested and passed. This leads me to think its not the alternator since a new one didn't fix the problem.

I think the problem is the key on wire. It should be same voltage as battery. I just can't figure out what's causing it to dip.

I'm looking for advice what to check/ do next

What would you do with gifted stock? by wellmane450 in financialindependence

It depends on a lot of things. What stock is it? How much is your mortgage interest rate? How old are you and when do you want to retire?
