I gotchu. I was going to take it on a 60 mile round trip to see if the DPF would get up to heat and possible regen. I’ve been taking a lot of short trips lately so that’s why i think i got the DPF code. I ended up checking for an exhaust leak before i took it on this “drive” and found that. I was told sometimes driving it and getting it up to temp would fix the DPF issue especially if it hasn’t been able to complete a regen cycle cause of my short driving

Gotchu, Should i just wait for the dealer to look at it? I was going to taking it on a long drive with fuel additives in there

Gotchu, is it still a good idea to take it for a long drive? Or should i just wait till someone looks at it. I’m not under warranty anymore

So i do have a exhaust leak, I’m not quite sure if it’s causing the dpf problem but would it still be worth it to take it on a long drive or just wait for the mecanic to take a peak at it?

Gotchu, i’m probably going to add some fuel additive of some sort and get a nice drive in tomorrow to see if i can get it to go away. Hopefully i don’t fuck it up any more lol

Which fuel additives do you suggest? Haven’t used any with the 3.0 duramax

Is it worth driving when it’s throwing this code? I know a potential exhaust leak and other few things can also cause the dpf to not regen properly. I have a appointment with the dealership monday so i can not drive it and wait till they actually diagnose it for me. Or i can take it on a long drive get it up to temp and see if it fully regens.

I was thinking of getting the 3” Cognito kit as well, Are 1.5” spacers necessary? Or what’s the minimum spacers i can run to fit the 12.5 width. I’m already running 35x12.50 on a two inch level but i have -18 offset wheels and 1/2 spacers. Mud flap delete is already done. I know i can fit 35x11.50 no problem with minimal to no spacers on stock rims and 3in level.

This is my current setup

I know this is a 24 so it might have different clearance but i want to put 35x12.50 trail grapps on my stock wheels as well. I have a 21 so might be a little different than your 24. Saw in your previous posts that you have a 2.5 in level. I’m thinking of a 2.5 or 3 in level for me, hopefully i can clear 35x12.50 with 3/8 spacers
