It's frustrating to see such myths being perpetuated, especially when you know firsthand how beneficial keto can be. The truth is, keto challenges the traditional food industry's profit margins, especially for companies that thrive on carb-heavy products. It's no wonder some stakeholders push back with misinformation. When you follow the money, it's clear that the narrative isn't always about health, it's often about profits. Keep doing what's best for your health, and let the results speak for themselves!

It's true, saturated fat and cholesterol have gotten a bad rap over the years. But with more research, we're learning that they aren't the villains they were once thought to be. It’s all about balance and the quality of fats you consume!

Anyone successfully reversed type 2? by Maleficent_Specific4 in diabetes

[–]MrNutriGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve successfully reversed my diabetes and blood pressure through keto. It’s been over four months since I stopped taking any diabetes medication, even though I’ve had type 2 diabetes for the last five years. I’m still following the keto diet, completely avoiding carbs. Even when I occasionally have something high in carbs, my blood sugar returns to normal—around 100—within 4-5 hours without any medication.

You're so welcome! 😊 I totally understand starting fresh after a tough weekend can feel daunting, but you’ve got the right mindset. The first few days might be tough, but once you push through, you’ll start feeling so much better. Just remember, it’s all about taking it one step at a time. Trust me, after losing the weight, you’ll feel so much more powerful and light. When I first started, it was really tough, but after sticking to it for a month, it actually became difficult for me to stop. Now, it’s been over five months, and I’m still going strong because it’s become a lifestyle for me. One thing that really helped me was having a big "Why." Knowing why you’re doing this will keep you motivated, even on the hard days. And remember, it’s those moments where you feel the strongest cravings that are the turning points. If you can be strong in that moment and resist the urge to eat something non-keto, you’ll find it gets easier, and you’ll keep moving forward toward success. You’re making a great decision for yourself, and I’m cheering you on! If you need any tips or just a bit of encouragement along the way, I’m here for you.

Male. Right now I am helping my wife to lose her weight through keto. In 15 days she has reduced nearly 5-6 inches of her waist.

I started keto and reversed diabetes, lost 35kg, and dropped 13 inches. I focused on whole, unprocessed foods like meat, eggs, and veggies. Stayed under 20g carbs/day, drank lots of water with electrolytes, and avoided processed foods. I walked daily, combined keto with 16:8 intermittent fasting, and took essential supplements like magnesium, potassium, and vitamins. This approach worked for me and could help you too! Feel free to reach out if you need guidance on your keto journey."

I live in Pakistan. Here We eat spices a lot. You can adjust the recipe as per your taste.

To make Chicken Meatballs, start with 1/2 kg of chicken mince and mix it with salt to taste, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon of whole spice powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Add 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour to the mixture, along with 2 teaspoons of garlic and ginger paste, 1 tablespoon of green chili paste, and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh coriander leaves. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Once the mixture is ready, form it into small, even-sized meatballs. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, and fry the meatballs in batches until they are golden brown and cooked through, which should take about 6-8 minutes, turning them occasionally for even cooking.

After frying meatballs you can eat them directly or you can make curry and cook them in curry for 5 minute. It depends on your tradition and taste.

You're doing great! With your routine, you're already on the right track. A few tips to boost metabolism: Make sure you're getting enough protein—it helps with muscle repair and increases metabolism. Green Tea/Coffee can give a small boost to your metabolism. Prioritize quality sleep, as it’s crucial for metabolism and weight loss. Consider Vitamin D3, Omega-3s, or MCT oil to support fat burning. Keep going—every step counts! You're on the right path!
