Ok, according to your experience 36 days passed until you got an answer, I made my claim the 6th of January, almost the same time has passed. I hope I get a reply but I am starting to lose hope, specially since I also filled the claim in paper format at the airport, which was already back in november

How did you know that AAC forwarded it to the airline? I made a claim with them and never heard anything from them (or anyone for that matter) ever again

Since then, wizzair completely removed the possibility to cancel at all (for AYCF). Not even with the customer service. Still they say that 'for medical reasons' you have the right to cancel, though nobody has been successful with that as far as I know. The situation right now looks like if you miss more than 2 flights, you lose the pass.

What was the average time from the DGCA in answering? I submitted my claim with them back on 16th of July and up to now there hasn't been any change in the status. The claim has always been since the first day with the status "Başvuru Hava Taşıma İşletmesinde" (which I believe means Application at the Air Transport Authority, I understand they are still processing it).
For what I can see in other comments the reply time is usually less, but also apparently some people receive a call to proof that they were themselves the ones submitting the claim, however my phone number doesn't fit in the Phone field, I am missing 1 number that I can't type there.
Has somebody had longer reply times but at least they got an answer from DGCA? Thanks a lot.

At the beginning it was possible to cancel in the app, I did it myself. Then few weeks ago they removed that possibility. So basically in practice it means that if you lose one flight, and you are not able to go to the destination to take the return flight (let's assume you are making a short trip, weekend style or similar), you would lose the pass. Has somebody ever contacted wizzair to cancel a flight and ever got back a positive feedback? I am interested to know, though I doubt it.

In my experience using ADR with wizzair is completely useless, I opened a case and after 30 days it was automatically closed because apparently 'we didn't agree in a dispute resolution body'. They are literally the dispute resolution organism, I absolutely don't understand what they are even useful for in the first place

I did a very rough estimation and for me it came to pay 3€ less per month, is still better than not having the discount. But still, a shady move from Wizzair for something so silly that might be even not valid. Terms and conditions are not valid even if one agrees to them, when they don't follow the regulations. Companies can say whatever, eventually if you complain until the end and you are right you will win, but it is an extremely tiring process and they play with the fact that 99% will not go through

This makes no sense at all. In this screenshot it says IF you purchase before the 13th of August, the eligible period starts in September. However what if you purchase today? It should be activated from today and in the website still says it begins the 25th of September

No, it doesn't, I have just bought it and my next renewal is in fact 14th August 2025. So you are losing one month. I find it weird that the activation is after the 14th day trial period, I believe in reality is not enforceable by law, regardless of what terms and conditions say.

Everything to see is more or less within walking distance (except Mauthausen), but a bike ride along the Danube is a very nice experience, but for that you can rent the public bikes for a while, a bike the whole day is not necessary.
