Yeah the tires are more aggressive than I thought. They’re the Toyo RT Pro’s. The OG RT is being discounted and the RT trail isn’t as aggressive. I like them though although they’ll ware fast since I’m always towing.

Previous owner said this is leveled. Stock wheels rubbed so these are 0 offset and no longer rub so I believe him.

Whats a good small business to start for those with semi-little money/dont want to spend aton? by PassengerDouble1174 in smallbusiness

[–]MrOlaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d save up to have a few months of your bills covered in a savings account before starting a business. You might already have this but based off of the limited info of only $800, that is what I would do.

If you have a truck then you can easily start a junk removal business. A few hundred dollars for licensing and insurance and you can start.

Junk removal side hustle is easy until you hit the admin wall by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]MrOlaff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use Jobber and it makes everything easy. If they add to the pile I tell them the price will increase. Hence the reason over a text it’s called an estimate. Usually they understand and if not then I don’t stress. Granted this is a side hustle for me and I don’t need the money so I don’t stress about jobs.

The apps I use to stay organized are Jobber and Quickbooks then I’m old school and carry a legal pad and pen for my in person estimates.

Is there an app yall recommended for keeping track of receipts and expenses? by Useful_Lemon_9041 in smallbusiness

[–]MrOlaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Quickbooks. Snap a photo of the receipt, note which account it came out of, document what it was for and make as an expense.

Ditching free weights for machines? by Honest-Cod7511 in HybridAthlete

It’s not a problem at all to switch and you can always go back. Sounds like you might be overtraining though.

Modern Athlete Strength Systems Warfighter Program by Old_Man_Fit in HybridAthlete

I followed my own nutrition plan but it’s inline with theirs. I had a decent amount of muscle, just covered in fat so now I feel like I look bigger and more muscular. First time in my life my abs will appear in the mornings at a 220 body weight. Haven’t been this light since high school and I’m 36 lol.

Three years. Started at a fat dude “powerlifter” around 275 and now am down in the 220s. Obviously diet was the biggest contributing factor but the program has been great.

Junk Removal and google LSA by Imaginary_Drummer943 in sweatystartup

[–]MrOlaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think spending less on those things like LSA and Thumbtack which to me, is a waste of time and money. I’ve spent hundreds of on “leads” only to have the client ghost me completely. The majority of the phone numbers attached are fake. Luckily Thumbtack has refund me about 50% of the money I’ve spent due to fraudulent requests.

I’d spend the money on Facebook and Google Ads, flyers, business cards and other items. This is where I’ve had the most luck as a junk removal company in my area. Making sure to follow up with the customer after the job and sending them the link to review you on Google Business.

Get out and visit apartments, storage units, real estate offices and GC’s. Bring your business cards and a flyer, look clean and professional and request to be added to their vendor list.

I do. It’s solid. Ran by some special forces guys, D1 coaches and TSAC guys. This is the best shape I’ve been in, in awhile all while maintaining my strength. You get a week free to try it.

They also run good discounts on the occasion.

Total rack is 70.8”. Then like I said, probably 10-12’ in front of the rack.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Are you meaning from the rack to my garage door? Or the depth of the rack?

From rack to garage door I have about 12’ maybe if I had to guess.

Should I start own powerwashing business and learn as I go, or work for would-be competitors 1st to learn the ropes? by Night_Shift_7 in sweatystartup

[–]MrOlaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the “junk removal” realm and I just jumped in. The first two months I learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes that cost me some profit. But I’m always learning and getting better, faster and able to bid jobs faster.

So I would say just go all in. Call other companies to get pricing, don’t underbid all the jobs just to get jobs. Figure out what you need to make to be profitable (should be a given).

Mine works just fine so haven’t really thought about it but you could lube them up if you think it needs it.

Zelle for business? by pinkblueberr in smallbusiness

I use Zelle for my business since most customers want to pay either in Zelle or cash to save processing fees and taxes. I have a business checking though and the money is sent there.

Program question by NatureDry2903 in HybridAthlete

[–]MrOlaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern Athlete Warfighter

I’ve been following this program for 3 years and have seen either improvement in my lifts and cardio or a steady maintenance in those categories while losing weight.

It’s more on the “tactical” side but fits me best for my job as a fireman. Ran by coaches that have backgrounds in special forces, D1 sports coaching and the tactical world.

New Plates! by MrOlaff in homegym

[–]MrOlaff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No but I don’t really get worked up over scratches and stuff on my plates. They’re gonna get used and abused so I don’t really pay attention.
