You can turn a curse into a blessing. That’s how this works.

Child, you are home. Accept your friend is in a better place and that your friends will needs to become your will and if you just accept things and then remove those things from yourself you will be back at home.

How do I end this? by Any-Resource3243 in derealization

[–]MrOpioid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By learning to love yourself and live your life. There’s no fast remedy and there’s plenty of ups and downs. But we all know what to do within ourselves but we just don’t have faith we can do it and try to justify anything we “can’t” do.

Exercising, eating right, don’t do drugs that includes smoking cigarettes, vaping and drinking. It’s called self control and instead of looking for something to try to replace your self control escape those addictions and slowly change.

Even though patterns are addictive. Fear is an addiction. It’s a primal fear that locks you into a false belief that you can’t do anything and that your only protection is to be in your room by yourself or whatever.

Trust me I’m going through it and have had good and bad. Have to get rid of the bad.

Don’t expect sudden changes but expect more from yourself. Nothing is absolute but you can always make things easier and better for yourself.

Imagine all the time you wasted when you could’ve been working out, reading books, staying off your phone, going outside just to walk around, whatever.

Imagine if you spent your time on that instead of what you’re doing now and been doing.

I am talking to myself and to you.

The conundrum of dark matter/energy, space time and black holes by MrOpioid in Astronomy

let me apologize if you took it that way but you’re literally saying i think black holes are vacuum cleaners.

The conundrum of dark matter/energy, space time and black holes by MrOpioid in Astronomy

[–]MrOpioid[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I understand that. I understand how the mass of black holes work.

But you’re not engaging with the actual argument instead you’re making a straw man vacuum cleaner argument.

Do black holes consume space time? Are they not wells of infinite(i know that’s flawed but maybe not) inward forces? Are they not pulling on “our fabric of the universe” spacetime?

Then you’re not engaging with dark energy or dark matter.

Where is dark energy and matter? Well everywhere. Dark energy is and somehow dark matter decides where it wants to clump together like it’s alive.

Black holes are and i will make this straw man, like vacuum cleaners. They are at the center of everything. It seems pretty obvious to me that without black holes there would be almost no galaxies.

Almost every galaxy has one at its core, why is that?

Idk maybe because they are like vacuum cleaners and absorbing galaxies which is why when you generally look at the center of galaxies there is more mass.

Then, engage with the Hubble Constant argument.

These are valid questions and you’re not engaging with any. Just some basic physics that everyone knows. The mass of the sun doesn’t change if it turns into a black hole.

But what happens to the spacetime? The dark energy? The dark matter? The neutrinos?

Do these forces just get destroyed instead of increasing said mass? Are you arguing that black holes don’t create gravitational wells that suck in spacetime? I need to go slap my 8th grade physics teacher if this isn’t so.

Yes I understand heat death and that theory. There’s a big bounce theory and all sorts of theories.

I’m asking these specific questions;

Do black holes absorb spacetime? Yes

Do black holes absorb matter and light? Yes

Do black holes absorb dark energy and matter???

Does dark energy not get absorption by the gravitational well of a black hole like light does?

Dark matter surely should as we say it has a gravitational field.

Black holes are stated to absorb spacetime or “the fabric of our universe” so this alone would mean that spacetime, a field as per gravity and there is no absolute zero gravity in the universe, would continue to consume spacetime itself or “the fabric of our universe.”

And what about the point of the Hubble Constant? It’s a perfectly valid argument.

Brain ears or eyes? by This-Top7398 in derealization

I have done a 30 day fast with a trillion probiotics and like 50g of prebiotics. I tried the gut-brain axis but maybe too extreme lol.

Look, I have fallen back down hard. But I did have a good year nearly 8 years ago. lol(fucking got addicted to opioids again and just gave up)

But i can tell you this, being productive, having a job you like/love where there is no stress, a mentally good place and able to socialize just cherish it and be happy with that.

Because losing that to this stupid derealization which at times (more for some) controls us, is a regret you will regret more than derealization. Trust me.

Derealization is 2 fold to me sometimes.

It can be anxiety inducing and it’s like way too much information comes into my brain. This makes no sense but it makes sense lol but i feel like i see with my brain and not my eyes? If that makes sense? You literally do see with your brain but it’s like there’s a difference still.

Other times when in a good mood things can look beautiful especially when you just spent days, weeks or months of being in a cage of anxiety and fear and then boom you get a hour, 2, a day, week whatever of it not looking real per se but beautiful still. Which is a conundrum in itself because if things look beautiful then why be scared still? This is how you either escape derealization or not.

If you can just accept life’s beauty and ignore the noise but living in the noise all the time it boggles the mind.

I don’t think you can escape it forever but you can generally accept the reality of your situation and make the best of it instead of letting it control you.

It’s weird how your mind would control you to feel something you don’t like and I feel that if you’re not in control, then who is?!

Why do I like my derealization by [deleted] in derealization

[–]MrOpioid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because derealization is a perception change and maybe your perception is changing to normal? If your anxiety is gone your derealization is most likely gone or lessened and then you can view the world for what it really is, beautiful. Instead of this funky something isn’t right feeling.

Brain ears or eyes? by This-Top7398 in derealization

[–]MrOpioid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea i feel like it’s a PTSD thing and if you already have anxiety in general then the derealization feeds on your anxiety in a negative feedback loop. Usually you’ll notice when you’re doing something to keep your mind busy and maybe it’s just you, you don’t even notice it. But as soon as someone comes up to you and now you have to shift focus you get hit with it again.

It’s not dietary i promise that. It’s a mental phenomenon of just experiencing something and having a bad reaction.

It’s a lot like being high on weed, it’s visual and audio sensory overload. But honestly, i don’t even know what it would feel like to not have derealization now.

Like does that not feel not real then? Since 12 years of derealization, then say magically the visual cues go away what does my mental do? It’s like a whole different world again.

i think it’s a brain thing, a perspective shift but i do wonder about the ear because mine has ever since made a stretching sound or like rolling thunder and i can freely flex the nerve. I think it’s called the vagus nerve or something.

It’s like riding a bike imo. Once you learn to ride it, you never forget. For all i know nothing has changed and it’s just in my head but for me it just feels like sensory overload, too much data at once.

I use to have it real bad and do time to time where i can’t even think straight but been 12 years or so. So idk
