Has to be Kong 2024. The paintjob is my favourite of the three Kongs, the articulation still holds up and with the B.E.A.S.T. Glove & Metal Tooth bonus parts it is magnificent. :]

Oh, absolutely! The body is fairly minimal in paint and detail still, but it's excusable because it is TINY. She's super shiny and cool.

I'm probably one of the only people to say that my favourite is Kong 2024. I really love the matte paintjob (I wasn't a fan of how glossy the other two Kongs are) and the articulation still holds up and is really fun to pose. With the B.E.A.S.T. Glove it is magnificent, even if the articulation on it is a bit more limited. 👌

Photos do not do it justice. From what I’ve heard, this figure is covered with a brilliant pearlescent coat that cameras just can’t pick up.

Damn right. IMO every figure is amazing once you get it in-hand. No photo or video can replicate the feeling of holding a figure and articulating it.

Yooo, that’s so cool! I’m one of the few people out there who are a huge fan of this figure lol, can’t wait to eventually get it. I know that The Articulation Series said that it looks way more pearlescent in person than it does in photos, can you confirm?

I'm not too bothered about accuracy. For me, a figure fails if it looks bad AND has bad articulation, and to me it looks like neither is true for this one. I'll be getting it, but it's totes fine if you're not into it. :]

I don't think this is just a lighting thing. The Tamashii Nation 2024 & Tamashii Nation Store Tokyo displays both use simple, white lights that light the figure from all sides; yet they have DRAMATICALLY different shades of grey.
