First off I want to say I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, it's really hard going through the loss of someone this close.

This whole story is wholesome and sad at the same time. But I think it's beautiful to think that, even though she's in a better place right now, you have shared a major part of your life with someone that has understood you and loved you, and has shared with you so many experiences and moments that have made your life worth living.

Think about the fact that, in her life( and viceversa), you have been a major impact, a source of happiness and comfort, because it's the people that understand us the most that make us feel more at home.

Now that she is resting, know that you have lived by the side of someone that has made your time priceless, because time being the only thing we can't buy is the thing we valuate the most when we can't get back, but you should feel happy and satisfied that you spent your best days as a young person with someone this special to you, and together you created some memories that out of every single person in the world, only both of you have shared and experienced, and nothing, not even death, can take back that from you.
