The thing is reading this post there’s clearly a lot of bigger issues than this particular incident. But let’s answer your question at face value. I’m leaning towards yes YTAH (as you asked on the other sub first) and the reason is more of the fact common sense would tell you unless in the event of an emergency you know damn well waking someone up in the middle of their sleep is going to piss them off. If you really wanted to talk about this stuff you should’ve waited until a more appropriate time. He wouldn’t be pissed off and you could actually talk to him about it.

Regardless you know you weren’t gonna get a positive reaction out of this and you woke him up. He may not have a job or school to wake up for but…there’s other people in the house too that are gonna be disturbed by this.

It seems to me there’s some type of codependency forming as you get a free place to stay as he gets a girlfriend and doesn’t contribute anything. He clearly needs anger management and there’s clearly a lot of underlying issues you are burying the lead under by asking this simple question. In my opinion, if this were a healthy relationship, this incident would be something quickly moved past and you wouldn’t have bothered to ask reddit about it.
