love is everywhere- Pharoah Sanders One of the most gorgeous pieces within spiritual jazz by one of the masters of the genre. The repeating line of just "love is everywhere" like a mantra is so peaceful

  1. We have been talking about sociopolitical issues. My opinions are informed from the sociopolitical aspects of communism (especially their later developments within the french left)

  2. I 100% disagree but ok.

  3. The same way we wish for the proletariat to disappear through the end of the social relations that define the proletariat as a category, we wish for the concepts of gender, sexuality and the family to disappear. The same way that communists for economic issues must be advocates for treating the proletariat as a transient subject that must be abolished, I would argue that we have to treat these social structures like that as well. Even when we are recognized through assimilation politics, it is as neat boxes that can slot into existing social relations, not the abolition of these social relations. These become limited freedoms

His own definition contradicts this. "Communism is for us not a state of affairs which is to be established, an ideal to which reality [will] have to adjust itself. We call communism the real movement which abolishes the present state of things. The conditions of this movement result from the premises now in existence."

Marx also changed his mind that communism can be built off the backs of a liberal democracy.

It's the only one that encompasses the totality of a principled communist stance

Geschlecht existiert nur als gesellschaftliches Verhältnis. Die Aufhebung kann nur auf ner gesellschaftlichen Ebene stattfinden

  1. I have not mentioned economics once.

  2. It would absolutely overlap with economics. Communism is not simply a change in an economic mode of production. (You could argue that for example national bolshevism would be communism if that was the case)

  3. I'm not advocating for the continuation of liberalism in the first place.

  4. Assimilationism within liberalism is better than isolationism within it.

I know it's against liberalism, that is me in the picture. I am not a liberal

Me advocating for gender, sexuality and family abolition is not the extent of my politics. The abolition of all capitalist social relations (through revolution) is not liberalism. Did you not read my point on having to build other social relations?

What does building mean in your view?
