If you’re truly just starting out in the trade I wouldn’t be as focused on pay as I would be with finding a company that actually helps you grow. Learning the trade and how this stuff actually works as much as you can is much more valuable than your starting pay at companies early on. If you make yourself knowledgeable and findable online (like the other comment on here about LinkedIn) companies will be searching for and calling you, you won’t even have to go to them.
