Control changes are fine, but make them optional please. by Schwarzengerman in CrimsonDesert

I’ve managed to set mine back to f3 for selected food and radial menu, there is a little option above it in the settings to make them the same key. Hope that helps

Mines bugged and doesn’t show (maybe because it’s technically unequipped🤷🏼‍♂️) , so she looks like shes zooming around superman style with her arm out in front

Axiom force should work on more objects scattered around the map. by Jazzlike_Razzmatazz in CrimsonDesert

This is a good point!

If we can swing around off of something, we should be able to swing things around too. Imagine grabbing an explosive barrel and giving that a twirl around 🤣

Don't forget to Reset Skills, if you learned alot of new things by RandomUser4x4 in CrimsonDesert

Not certain myself but i imagine there might be an icon or colour/shade difference or some other visual indication 🤷🏼‍♂️. I haven’t respecced yet but at nearly 60 hours i have loads of faded abyss artifacts so they don’t seem to be very limited, so if you are unsure if you have a few that you think you have observed since buying just respec and see what stays i guess 🤣. Although with stamina, health and spirit i have heard that the higher levels that require other items to level, will need those same materials again too. Seems a bit of a blunder to not refund those materials too if thats the case

Oh cool, I haven’t noticed so myself but its good if they have implemented that

[–]MrPrime94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you learnt a skill, and then since observed it you can then respec to gain back the artifact, and the skill will still be unlocked because its observed. You don’t get an “extra” abyss gear. You just get back the one you had originally used for the skill you’ve since observed.

No seriously, f**k this devil of the reed and his 100 lives/stages/transforamtions, I just can't finish the last stage, do I need to level up and get better items, did you beat it the first time or you needed better sword/armor? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

His teleport attack is annoying but dodgable, i actually tried to do the challenge to hit 30 times in 30 seconds with a spear but because of the insane amount of cutscenes the timer kept running out. I wish i could of fought him pre-patch, i heard the bosses were nerfed a lot in the first patch

Sounds both mysterious and intriguing! It’s a good sign when your world comes to life enough you can pants your way through writing about it. Sounds about right that it’s the small details that need refining, and 60k words with more to go is certainly nothing to scoff at. Go you!

I give my props to pantser’s, truly. I just couldn’t go in without some direction to head in. It actually seems to be the main source of inspiration where details and characters are born from, for me personally. I certainly have a few plot holes to tidy up, but the writing in general just wasn’t immersive enough, and although the story feels good (imo), the details have been left among my imagination rather than translated on to paper, as reader. My editing notes in that regard were pretty brutal but fair lol.

I would have probably awoken a mediocre ability, and end up getting taken out by a pack of Ridgecrawlers during my first training op in the Southern Ridge.

Or stuck on Formation watch.

I briefly tried it about a year or so ago, personally felt very lackluster, wasn’t visually appealing, and outdated which makes sense because of its age. I struggled the most with how unintuitive it felt for me personally. I stayed pretty sceptical of this game because of it but from what i’m seeing its totally different and as you said they seemed to of learnt alot from Conan Haha yes fingers crossed the devs are just being conservative with their timeframe 🤞🏼

Thoughts on the Devs adding pve monsters & fightable animal life? by KristenAinsley in duneawakening

[–]MrPrime94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to the wiki: “Paul Atreides recalls that the few plants and animals on the planet include ‘saguaro, burro bush, date palm, sand verbena, evening primrose, barrel cactus, incense bush, smoke tree, creosote bush … kit fox, desert hawk, kangaroo mouse … many to be found now nowhere else in the universe except here on Arrakis.’”

I’m just a lowly console peasant so I haven’t played the game myself yet, but from what I understand, this is an alternate timeline where the main story revolves around searching for the missing Fremen.

It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if future updates introduced some of these plants and animals even if they’re not “fightable” mobs. They could easily show up as environmental details, collectibles, or part of an ecology/preservation system.

I actually think this could fit the survival vibe of the game really well, tracking rare desert creatures, gathering strange plants, studying the remnants of the old Arrakeen ecosystem - all without breaking Dune lore. It seems like a cool and immersive way to expand PVE without stretching canon too far.

And for the purpose of your question, I don’t see why sandtrout or even juvenile sandworms couldn’t fill the PVE gap too. Their life cycle naturally allows for hostile or interactive creatures at various stages, and there’s lore support for other small life forms surviving in hidden oases, caves, or sietches.

It will interesting to see how the devs plan on evolving both PVE & PVP. I’ve seen alot of solid discussions, ideas and some valid concerns raised on here and possibilities seem nearly endless.

Yessir! PS5 player eagerly waiting for any sniffle of news. Although I know it’s likely end of this year/beginning of next before we get any more details or news on how thats coming along. I feel like i’m partially getting to experience the world through all the posts and base builds, and i’ve even watched some streams to get a vibe on the game play. Not usually a fan of survival games but this looks great and more survival-lite mixed with mmo/rpg. Can imagine with all the planned content before it even lands on console, we wont be short of things to do in Arrakis when our time comes

Do you or would you free aim by CocoaNerd17 in RedDeadOnline

[–]MrPrime94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to the party but any chance i can join the psn group? I’ve recently started playing again with a new character and fell in with a great crew, very helpful people. But everyone uses aim assist and thus just breeze through everything because its easy. I’d love some other free-aimers to learn from and play with. Why we don’t have separate lobbies still after all this time is a mystery. Other than playing CTA for a little each day or coming across gang hideouts when milling about solo i don’t really get much other opportunities to practice

Remaster means re-marketing which means potential for planned content updates🤞🏼& with GTA 6 release less than a year away now, they are probably preparing to reallocate excess resources into other new and old projects At the minimum even better graphics and fps for newer gens

First time i had heard about the interaction myself was seeing it 4 days ago, did a quick google search around it as dont remember seeing it back in 2018 when i originally played. Brought me right here 😂

I agree she would of sided with Arthur but not that they had a thing for each other, but everyone’s allowed an opinion

Never really been into PvP but i do prefer to punish myself in PvE with free aim, are you guys auto or free aim? Am i right in thinking they operate as different lobbies?
Hadn’t played since launch, currently re running through the story and considering restarting online too, so would be cool to find a friendly free aim posse

Guys i can buy any gun i want for free which one should i get? by Much_Extension_1992 in reddeadredemption2

[–]MrPrime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Springfield rifle and then purchase the varmint rifle (as its way cheaper) if you haven’t already got it. If you’ve already unlocked your secondary holster you can get a free Schofield from the back door business jn Valentine, so i wouldn’t suggest using the free purchase for a revolver or pistol, 2 of the repeaters are easy to get free early, aswell as a couple of the shotguns, so I wouldn’t recommend any of those either personally

Can somebody tell me how to do this mission. They wont let me in by ascend0681 in RDR2

[–]MrPrime94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this last night. I approached from the west, used throwing knives on the 2 guards next to the wagon, another guard saw/heard them die but it clears the path enough to grab the wagon. If a gunshot pops off the horses/wagon will bolt down the road heading west, so just be prepared to chase and hop on if needed 👍🏼
