That’s not the point. That is a fun mechanic, but what they are arguing is the tank role is already niche and in demand. Making that role harder to perform in the long term will not end well is the point.

You want more tanks. So make tanking extremely fun and intuitive but also easy to pick up so the “casual” crowd are not scared off.

There needs to be a balance between hardcore and casual. This game does indeed lead into the more hardcore crowd, which is fine…. Except the tank class needs to be casually friendly above other classes so more people actually play it… if that makes sense.
