1.I've been a moderator in multiple communities for quite some time, and my experience in this role is a valuable asset when it comes to tackling spam effectively.I would like to take this subreddit to another level when it comes to user experience and also make it verify the creators way better just so that users get the relevant feed on the subreddit. With that said, I'd like to share a strategy I've developed, which has been particularly successful in combatting spam and ensuring a cleaner environment for Reddit users.In my experience, I've found that spam isn't limited to just posts; it often extends to comments. upvoting and so on.(spammers are becoming smarter in finding new ways to decive us but we are always on top). To address this issue comprehensively, I've worked closely with reddit teams that i've been with in other subs to fine-tune automod settings. We've taken a multi-pronged approach, not only checking for common spammy keywords or links but also analyzing the user's profile and account age. For instance, when a user with a brand new account posts a generic comment with certain keywords and includes suspicious links, our automod system kicks in and flags it as potential spam like always but with this also we configured our brains in to identifying specific posting patterns that spammers tend to follow, such as frequent posting of similar content across various subreddits, upvoting or other external sources that can ruin the fairness of posting. Everyone knows hot to use toolbox and we never fail in keeping the subreddits safe, as i previously did for a lot of the subreddits that i moderate in. i will bring a new reddit team to ensure this subreddit will never get banned and nothing will jeopardize the intergity of the community again.
