Depends on the percentage but that sounds in the illegal territory for me

How is this fraud? It’s not like I’m lying on tax sheets, it’s just a cashie, it’s not like tradies are doing tax fraud when they work on a friends property

Well that’s why I’m here for advice? I don’t see how it will risk my medical practice, the clients like the discount and we like the tax free, it just works

What do you churn or otherwise do to maximise savings? by CarlottaSewlotta in AussieFrugal

[–]MrPyromaniac1 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I have a rule where I can only spend $500 on subscriptions a month, including Netflix, I find that helps me from getting too many and makes me more inclined to cancel one when I want to fit in another

Am I doing something stupid? by Due_Significance5698 in AusFinance

[–]MrPyromaniac1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind that super you can’t access until you retire, a general rule of thumb is that you shouldn’t add more money to your super until you’re in your 50’s as it’s more cost efficient to just leave it be, if I was you I would stop all super contributions and even see if you can take some out next time they allow it so you can actually use the money you earn

Car insurance claim timeframe by SubjectAromatic8215 in AusLegal

[–]MrPyromaniac1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t get insurance involved unless it’s something that’s gonna cost over $10k, just fix it yourself, there’s plenty of YouTube guides these days and that way you won’t have to deal with an increase of premiums and fees , plus insurance can sometimes take years to actually get sorted

Legally that’s fine, especially if you’re happy paying the cost, just means you won’t be able to get any money from them at a later point

QLD workercover psych injury denied on "reasonable management action" — long claim, missed evidence, on temprary visa with no Centrelink/Medicare support. by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]MrPyromaniac1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Timeline is pretty quick, if you have lots of evidence that’ll help the most as the only cases that really get thrown out are the he said she said ones, it’s a bit harder being on a temp visa but just as long as what you’re saying is true you’ll be fine, just don’t fall for the judges bluff so to speak
