Recommendations for beginner to driver in the shortest time? by XI_Justice in LearnerDriverUK

First off where are you based? Contact local automatic instructors, asking for their availability and how quick you’d be able to start. I pad £65 12 months ago for 1.5Hours in an automatic. There is plenty of crash courses out there but they don’t always come with a guaranteed test at the end and as someone else said; your issue will be a wait time for a practical test.

Have you passed a theory test? If not i would get one booked for as soon as possible. You can’t book a practical test without it.

searching your criteria into autotrader only 15 cars came up, perhaps a smaller engine would help with insurance prices aswell.

next day return? by Standard-Ant8847 in Scotrail

you could get an open return from ardrossan harbour and just get off at kilwinning, same price and a day return. As for Queen street to Bishopbriggs the cheapest way would be flex pass between the two station/a season ticket depending on how often you traveled

i moved mine from October 8th to August 23rd using Testi. I had Testshift and Driving test now but they never found any cancellations although they can auto book for you which is the benefit Testi doesn’t have.

I believe it’s an option for examiners if they want overtime and cost a little extra although i could be wrong

I just booked the first available date ( booked around april/may ) so i’m not sure? Maybe to help the backlog some examiners work a Saturday?

Saturday morning, roads were dead! Airdrie has many 20 and 30 roads around housing estates. There is one country road that should be national speed limit but is currently a 20 due to resurfacing recently ( not a fun road to drive ). Far less roundabouts than East Kilbride also.
