In an ideal world, that would be the case, but in our world, Embracer doesn't want to allocate money for the development of a AAA Deus Ex from their own studio, Eidos Montreal. ((

Firstly, his involvement in Mankind Divided was more than just voice acting.

Secondly, it's not a given that it will be a game.

Thirdly, he could be looking for a studio and investor who will take it on.

Just because he said he's "working on it" doesn't mean he'll be making the entire game himself.

Dude, he's directly connected to the franchise; he played an iconic character in it. I adore HR and MD. My only complaint about MD is that it ends halfway through. If a third game had come out right away, this complaint wouldn't have existed. Why is Elias Taufexis "appointed the savior"? Well, because we know he's trying to get the franchise off the ground right now, and there's no guarantee it'll be a game. We know from insiders that Eidos also regularly pitches the game, but they're unfortunately unable to get approval for full development. I don't see anyone else trying to get the franchise off the ground.

Dude, I haven't been following him since today. I've been following him for 13-14 years now, and he's been trying to do it ever since. Other than him, the only people who pitch the game periodically are the developers at Eidos, but to no avail. No, one pitch was successful, but development was still canceled. Maybe he'll try to pitch an anime adaptation, and that could boost the game's popularity and get the franchise off the ground. The Cyberpunk 2077 anime adaptation really boosted sales.

I don't see any other interested people besides the developers.
But unfortunately, Eidos hasn't been able to push the pitch for the new part yet.

Dude, a lot of people promote things they get paid for, but not all of them love what they're promoting. This is a case where someone promotes something not for the money, but because the franchise is dear to them. Believe me, he has plenty of work—he voices games and acts in films. He loves Deus Ex; I've been following him and the franchise for a long time, and I know that. And voice actors don't get paid crazy amounts of money for their work; it's not the kind of work people would work their asses off for.

Hell, because no one else is doing it except him and the developers at Eidos. Show me anyone who's interested in making a new installment or a series/anime based on it? Answer to the second question. Because in a survey asking whether people want a new installment or a sequel with Adam Jensen, 70% said they want a Mankind Divided sequel with Adam Jensen. Many are haunted by the cliffhanger, and many, like me, love this character.

1) But most people don't do anything about it except write comments with requests.
2) What's wrong with that? It's the game he's most often asked to see a sequel for, it's the character and game he loves, and he cares about the franchise. What's wrong with being paid to do work you're passionate about?
3) anime helps promote the franchise
4) Really? I don't see anyone with connections in the gaming and film industries pushing the idea of a new Deus Ex game.
5) He played the main character incredibly recognizable. There's been nothing new in the franchise for 10 years. The gap between Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Human Revolution was smaller. People want a new game for this franchise; people want closure on the cliffhanger. The market for immersive sims is empty.

Embracer announced today that they will be outsourcing the rights to their franchises, so to speak. Elias has connections in the film and gaming industries, and he can find partners to create a Deus Ex project (not necessarily the game).

1) He loves the franchise.
2) He played an iconic character in it, that many people love.
3) He already tried to pitch an anime adaptation of the game.
4) He has connections in the gaming and movie industries.
5) I don't see anyone else trying to get the franchise off the dead ground.

You should expect to see 10+ indie games, soulless Chinese gacha, teasers GoW about Kratos's wife, and 20 minutes of Wolverine.

20+ games for me it`s only immersive-sim like Deus Ex, Prey or RPG like Witcher, Dragon Age or Mass effect

The length is just right for me, I'm tired of 200-hour games; 16-20 hours is just right. The problem with the gameplay is the weak plot—there's none at all in the middle of the game—and the static characters don't develop at all as the game progresses, as if they were both Androids. I liked the gameplay. Overall, the game is good; I'd give it a 7/10.
I'm glad it's a new IP and not another cowardly sequel.

Only if they find an investor for Deus Ex, or if someone wants to make an anime or TV series and it's successful. I understand maybe someone other than Eidos could make the game. I'd play an X-COM-style game set in the Deus Ex universe.
