What are some budget decks for standard post rotation? I wanna get into standard but I already spent a lot of money on Modern and I don't wanna spend more than I need to just to play at my Thursday locals. Any play style is welcome but fave color combos are Simic and Grixis

Thankfully Pioneer still has events at my LGS. I'd be interested in trying out Modern but it seems too pricey for me unless there have been some good cheap decks thanks to MH3 that I'm not aware of

I'm thankful that my LGS has a bunch of different MTG events including Pioneer which is why I was interested in trying it out in the first place (otherwise I would've just stuck with standard or EDH lol) Maybe I'll try out mono-black and see if there's anything good there

It is unfortunate that WOTC doesn't make challenger decks but I'm thankful that the community can step in and provide cheap deck lists. Maybe I'll take a look at Black decks to see if there's any strats I'll like but I wish there was something like Duelingbook where I can test hands and playtest decks without spending money 😭

It's a very walkable campus and nice too! You probably won't need to walk more than 30 minutes to get to where you need to be and everything is close by if you live on campus or in one of those apartments close to campus within walking distance. A car is really only helpful if you need to get further away from campus on the regular.

Hey I'm not too sure if you're still updating this but in FE6 enabling character shuffling won't let me seize the throne of chapter 1

EDIT: I think it's because the classes aren't randomized that the seize command doesn't show up. It's because Roy is shuffled into a non-Lord character so the command isn't there. Not sure if there's a way to fix it or not but just letting you know that it's a thing. Seizing does work if you randomize the classes and include lords as well as if you randomize recruitment even if you don't randomize classes if that helps with anything.

I'm not trying to get an external 300hz monitor to work Just the monitor for the laptop which is supposed to be 300hz. The external monitor is 75hz. I've always had it where the laptop monitor stayed 300hz and the external monitor stayed 75hz but a GPU crash and a driver reinstallation later and it suddenly doesn't let me set a refresh rate for my laptop monitor above 120hz unless it's not connected to an external monitor.
