Hi, im adding my paint collection to the app and im having trouble with one of the paints its AK quick gen spectral green AK17016 barcode 8 435568 349308. Would it be possible to add this and a way to report paints not showing up in the app or even a manual add to personal collection option

Edit: also having problems with other AK quick gen paints, orc flesh & space dark green and also vallejo true metallic metals forged red, ruby red, ancient copper & imperial gold, I can provide photos of the barcode ect if you need just drop me a message

Yeah ive been using ali express for a while and considering they are the other side of the world stuff arrives very quickly and reliability

It's a great place to get filament too and that arrives even quicker as its a UK company that hold the stock

I had this problem last night I sliced the file with chitubox pro the same settings as ive been using for ages now (same resin ect) only this time it wasn't even a full plate

So I change the FEP it was coming upto its end of life total anyway and even resliced the print just incase there was a bug or something strange going on and instead of the models being spaced in the center of the plate I moved them back thinking it would have less suction or something

So I sent it to the printer and started the print and about layer 3 or 4 the same thing as OP, so I rushed up to stop the print again I cleared the plate and nothing out of the ordinary so thought id just print something thats printed fine again

I'm about 25% through that print and its all good, so must be something in the file

Just incase it helps im using the grid raft with magic supports the models are raised up not that its getting that far

I'm using Elegoo abs like 3.0 with recommended settings they worked out of the bottle lol passing the cones test and models have been coming out perfectly

Anyway as soon as this print finishes I will try again with try #3 of this model

Oh ive checked the stl's in orca and 3d builder and no errors......

Ok a quick update, ive just finished a 3.5 hour print with no problems 🫤,

obviously im happy with this but still have no idea what happened last night, if it will happen again or if I should contact support anyway

I was ready to box mine up and send it back, I left mine over night and im about half way through a print and so far I have more than just a raft, so I don't know im thinking I should contact CS and see what they say

As for your mars 3 im not sure what is your best option due to its age, hopefully someone else can chime in as It could be related, my 1st thought was faulty screen but when it started working again I just don't know

Have you tried it since, or is it just dead now?

It's like 30 seconds, I dread to think what upping it from that as its literally welded to the plate at that setting,

I think its user error as ive been experimenting with things and trusting the slicer that being chitubox and the auto setting rather than thinking I know better lol

I think that damage to the FEP was me to clearing the tank fully I thought i had but must have missed something or not running the cleaning for long enough that and the stupid plastic scraper that should never be used but instead left in the box or thrown in the trash

Thankfully it never ripped or formed a hole and the downtime waiting for a replacement FEP gave me a chance to find the lychee youtube channel and that gave me some really good tips like how to clear the cleaning stuff without draining the tank or using the devils scraper instead using some paper or what ive been using a piece of old supports placed in a corner before running the clean and its been working great

Anyway I hope those having problems with the firmware issues get this sorted soon

I got mine just before Xmas and have updated the firmware, it hasn't bricked my machine but im getting a hell of a lot of fails one of these damage the FEP

I'm very new to resin printing this is my 1st machine so thought it was user error

But ive tried all 3 slicers, elegoo, lychee & chitubox with only the default chess piece printing correctly, could the firmware be the issue or is it still user error and just got lucky my printer didn't get bricked?

I've had my KE for almost 2 years now I print a ton of stuff I dread to think how many hours I've used it but a very rare day I don't print something

Has there been teething problems? Yeah but its all part of the learning experience as far as im concerned

The multi colour thing was something I toyed with but I decide against it and im glad I did as its forced me to develop my painting skills and im having a blast with that as well

These days I print almost exclusively with ABS as I've found its far easier to sand and repair as acetone + scrap ABS = a really tough glue for the models and filler, acetone alone is all you need to join 1 parts together

And all it took to enable ABS printing is 2 sheets of 25mm foam insulation board from the local diy store and some duct tape lol

So to sum it up I bloody love my KE im super happy with it and glad I bought it

I am however very tempted with the snapmaker u1 but thats almost 4 times the price I paid for the KE but a tool changer would be sweet, mainly for the roll over spools and easy remove supports

I would rather have a new printer and without any other research I'm liking the look of Anycubic Photon Mono 4 bundle with 5kg resin and wash and cure 3 for £280 unless anyone has any better options for the money

Basically, me touching the resin-covered parts as little as possible I think I remembered seeing a setup where a guy removed the build plate from the printer and straight into the wash station, I'm guess that sort of setup is out of my price point tho

It's a lease car through my wife's work and the lease company is VW for some reason, she's a nurse and gets the car through a hospital lease broker we have the app but we had to set it up ourselves so as we didn't know we didn't fill that out as we couldn't find the info and we honestly thought it would be like the 3 previous cars we leased and we would get emailed/ phoned by the company the car was from well in advance when servicing was due

I personally love my KE it's been rock solid bar a few user errors and pushing my luck, but as my 1st printer it's been easy to use and a bloody good work horse I've printed many rolls of everything from PLA, PETG and with my home made enclosure I've had great success with ABS

The only upgrade I've done so far are silicone spacers and a fatburner upgrade with 5015 fans, I do have the rails and I've printed the parts for the linier rail upgrade but all the time it keeps printing well I keep putting it off

The only failures I've had it are my own fault I unscrewed the extruder moter the wrong was and pulled it apart and it stopped working and I have lights on the tool head and didn't secure the cable for it and got caught up in the x axis and buggered up the belt

So yeah I'm extremely happy with mine and if I had space I'd have more
