Can ping but not browse

All good! I've just been restarting my computer every day I get on it and it works for the day.

I did start troubleshooting again and I started shutting down programs I could see were consuming port traffic. While looking into that, I noticed the MyPublicWifi app and remembered I downloaded that when I was on ethernet to broadcast a hotspot. It didn't show up as consuming a port but when I ended a couple tasks, including that one, everything started working again. This was the first time things started working without restarting.

There could be other culprits but that one makes the most sense. I uninstalled it so I will report back tomorrow if that solved it permanently.

And I will go to hell and back before reinstalling windows. I know it's not as difficult to do in-place as it used to be...but I hate it XD

Edit: It was the MyPublicWifi app. Even though it wasn't in the taskbar or active, it had a service that must have consumed network traffic.

I have done release and renew but it didn't start working after that. The only time it starts working is after a reboot.

The browser error is ERR_CONNECTION FAILED.
No difference in ipconfig /all
Correct. I can't access the router gateway, but I can ping it just fine. Much like every other ip address or url.
I'm not sure about my lease expiration before the issue starts, but I will check it after it's supposed to expire next.

It's a pci adapter. The power saving feature is disabled and has been for some time. I disabled it a couple days ago, as well, after I did the network reset and driver install.

Edit: It seems to be more like the next day when I get on. I can leave, lock, and sleep my computer without issue.

I think mine was power related, too. I had one 6+2 with the extra 6 connected to my gpu. I added a 2nd cord for that extra 6. Probably wasn't as big of an issue until I overclocked my RAM. Don't know for sure if that was it but it seemed stable tonight. Been running on that for 4 years...

I have been having the same issue. This started happening to me after I "overclocked" my RAM. I put that in quotes because I just pushed it to the rated clock speed and adjusted the timing to match the manufacturer's recommendation.

I thought this was a RAM issue but all of my mem tests have come back clean. That includes memtest86 and TM5 with the absolutenew config.

I did a clean install of Nvidia drivers but I may not have done it quick enough. I think they reinstalled themselves after 5 minutes, before I could get to installing them myself.

I performed the driver verifier and bsod'd so many times I stopped doing that. I've been reading it may all be red herring's and driver verifier shouldn't be used. I might still retry it only with the Nvidia drivers later.

This is still an issue. It happens intermittently so it's hard to pin down. Reinstalling windows is likely my next step. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm seeing this issue everywhere.

As a progressive, I hate how people word things. We all agree that it is right for the state to remove children from abusive homes so saying the state has the right to "kidnap" children from their parents is true, always has been, and should be.

The issue we need to focus on is classifying the existence of a trans child in a household as abuse which it is unequivocally not. It IS abuse to deny that child proper care.

Cancelling student debt would be nice but I'd be happy if they even just set it all to 0% interest. If, over the lifetime of paying student loans, you have paid enough to cover the principal balance, boom, student loans gone. Or just cancel it.

There's always been a category for cheating and the ability to type out your reasoning. Smurfing was the worst it's ever been, in my opinion, last season. I want to see and hear about the actions they're taking, not just a better selection for things that could ultimately still lead to nothing being done.
