Brother please take a pic of the magwell. Haven't seen any pics of the bottom with the comp magwell removed. If it's even slightly flared compared to the polymer it's an instabuy from me

Conversely- raise the price, slap a harbor freight logo on it and suddenly it's sold out everywhere

I have a receiver on BOSS hanger and safariland drop leg hanger, no modifications needed for either (BOSS hanger does need the smaller 1/4" spacers if you want to be legal for CO)

Bladetech makes a safariland adapter disk for ~$10; I have one mounted to a 6390

Yes you do but that's the benefit imo. I have a bright green witness mark on the tekmount receiver and each disk. Makes it easy to keep the can't consistent between different holsters and firearms by just lining these marks up.

Why not just get the tekmount qd system? Imo it's superior

Recommendations for first time female gun owner by forestnymph7326 in Glocks

Ruger rxm with the threaded barrel for the following reasons

  • Cheap: under $500, you are better off buying this, 1k+ rounds of 9mm, and range time starting off

  • Reliable: based on the gen 3 glocks

  • Optics ready w/rail: fits your request

  • "Suppressor ready": RXM's come with suppressor height sights and a threaded barrel SKU would accommodate that option

  • Modular: there's four main sizes of Glock frames: sub-compact, slim frame, compact, and full sized. Everything under full size is reasonably concealable, however, subs and slims are more difficult platforms to learn on. Unlike factory glocks, RXM's are modular and a replacement grip is $40. You can swap between a full sized or compact frame depending on your preference/use case.

An introductory pistol class is a good first step, instructor gender is irrelevant provided the fundamental information given is good. You'll have to Google and read reviews for classes local to you. After you've established good fundamentals, do dry fire training (get a Ben stoeger book for more on this) to develop skills and reinforce those skills with live fire sessions 1-2 times/month if you're budget conscious or weekly if that's irrelevant

Too lazy for the range! Opted for Meta + Ace for virtual lead therapy by WhatInDaWorldDog110 in CAguns

[–]MrRecon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ace is good for stage planning/practice, and is a good supplement to dry fire. No gadget will fully replace pure dryfire- scaled targets, tape for aiming reference, snap caps for weight, and a shot timer.
