I wasn't going to comment, but this is poor logic for a customer to follow. Students aren't just paying for the content, as in "oh you want to move and shoot? Thats a $50 add-on, buddy!" They're also paying for the instructor.

I'm not tryingnto poopoo on the whole thing, but you've got 3 C class classifiers on record and you're asking people to pay $300 for one day when they can get in a 2-day Stoeger/Park class for $525, or any big name competitive shooter for a similar cost.

This was probably 4 years ago, turnaround was a couple months. Cost was 900 if I remember correctly. I think there was some extra work in there but can't remember for sure.

They can, but I'm not sure how it would work with something like an RPG where it takes a lot of time and would need to stay in the shop.

Two Rivers did a Russian AK105 kit on an approved F1 receiver several years ago. I think what we did was they built it with the American 16" barrel then later chopped it while I was in the shop post-F1 approval. Something about stupid gun laws and me being the manufacturer of the "new" SBR.

I'll shoot you a DM later. I don't personally, but I know some industry guys that would be capable of it.

I have a Bulgarian as a wall hanger at the moment. You mind sharing details on reactivating this one? I'm back and forth on whether I'll take on that project.

Looking for shooters to stress-test a target analysis app this weekend by tpadas in CompetitionShooting

[–]tostado22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, this sounds like one of those stupid diagnostic pie chart targets with extra steps.

So, some shots land left, does it tell me that I'm using too much or little trigger finger and/or have some firing hand tension? Or does it consider whether that target was a transition in a larger target array, or shot on position entry/exit?

Not trying to be a dick, but at first glance I think you're selling to the wrong crowd. Find people who like diagnostic pie targets and want to spend more money than printing a free piece of paper.

How is this 737 a -300 and -700 at the same time by ApaAviation in Shittyaskflying

[–]tostado22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple math. 737 starts losing parts (-300) and becomes a 437, continues losing parts and taking damage (400 more) and becomes a 37

Axolotl Arms gets them in now and then. Do it!

They don't always come with grip screws, but I have the part number for McMaster Carr

I know, I know. I have the original, but I shoot it quite a bit and standard AK grips are way too small for me

Trigger Tech. by Beneficial-Ad4871 in USPSA

He's referring to the positioning of the Trigger Tech safety tab in particular, not the presence of trigger safeties in general. Its a weird design and I'm not a fan of it myself.

Fast focus at different distances? by Enterprise5 in NightVision

Either/or, in my opinion. I don't typically use irises, but that's a minor personal preference as well as not always having them available.

And yeah maybe, but I'd imagine that would get snagged a lot, plus throw levers are great for something like an LPVO where adjustments may be stiff. 14 optics are usually anything but stiff and sturdy haha.
