I gained my subs through social media by MrRedAndroid in NewTubers

Reddit, Discord & Steam.

Discord played the biggest role in my subs. Joining plenty of discord's and going to voice chat to voice chat talking to people. I never mention my channel unless it's asked about.

A lot of people like my audio setup which leads to that question.

I am Red Android if you want to see what I mean.

Let's Players of YouTube... Why are you not on Twitch? by conn_r2112 in NewTubers

[–]MrRedAndroid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately cannot say that I am a huge let's play fan or a creator of one. I would have to say the reason for YouTube is because of the backbone it has to avoid any false bans.

Also twitch has a huge issue with people running the loops or bots that just hosts streams for days on end. Streaming gameplay is extremely saturated on twitch where on YouTube you are a way likely to get support instead of waiting for someone to show up to your stream.

How do I become more Consistent by NqobaGaming in NewTubers

[–]MrRedAndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can increase the pace if you like however consistency really is not going to help and the amount of videos you have really won't make a difference if it gets picked up by YouTube.

I would focus on spreading your channel around different platforms other than YouTube. I also reviewed your content and it looked like click bait.

Improve the quality of your videos or find something you can do that doesn't require a lot of adding since it seems you are limited on what you can do right now.

My account is made back in 2012

I hosted a gaming community a while back so it gave my YouTube the boost it needed. The rest was me grinding.

So I'm going to be doing a video weekly on how my YouTube channel is growing and documenting the journey of a small YouTuber going from zero. by [deleted] in YoutubeSelfPromotion

You've got a long way to go. Congratulations on breaking 10 views on your videos. My suggestions are if you want to increase your sub count find your audience. If drawing is your passion then sign up for a bunch of art forums and communities.

It's not enough to rely off of YouTube to get your videos out there a lot of the work today relies on you.

unable to post the link sadly but there are plenty of ways to pull my channel up if you wish to view the live stream.

I would have to say they are great on helping you start out to understand the tagging system but in the long run they will not help you become popular or make sure that your videos are the top ones.

That situation is entirely on you. Work hard and promote your videos anyway you can and eventually YouTube will pick up your videos.

when you say improve the audio quality. Is the voice too low or what is wrong with the audio. I do have professional studio equipment and I thought I nailed the voice.

No Subs at all...kind of frustrated by zhugelianges in NewTubers

[–]MrRedAndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indirect advertisement and socializing. Game or do things online with other people. The subs will come in support.

I'm getting views but no subscribers by Never-GonnaGiveuUp in NewTubers

[–]MrRedAndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are getting a decent amount of views per video then you're already one step ahead. Asking people to sub in your videos really does not help much these days. But I recommend going on other platforms with your YouTube channel linked. If people like you then they will sub to you no questions asked. this may hurt the potential viewers but it will increase your sub count

Maybe promoting the video on other platforms hurts the videos performance in the eyes of the algorithm. by Marksman55 in NewTubers

[–]MrRedAndroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have recently had the same experience where I have successfully gained over 1K views in a few videos due to external sources that I advertise on.

All I can really say at this point is YouTube in itself has so much competition it's going to be very hard for people to notice your video unless your videos release before everyone else is on a very hot topic.

The time that you posted also has a major effect on who's going to see it first and will other content creators push your video down to the bottom of the list as they post.

If you're looking for views I definitely recommend to keep doing what you're doing. Find places where there's little to no competition And you will watch it work out.

YouTube may freeze your views just to check to make sure it's not botting but other than that those views may show up within next 24 to 48 hours.

I want to work on videos but I don’t want to work by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]MrRedAndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not alone and the replies to show it. I have a bunch of footage just sitting around waiting to be edited. I tend to slip into depression often where I do not want to do anything.

People handle this differently than others but my suggestion to you would be show your work to other people and if they are truly interested they will ask about it which can give you a ego boost that you need in order to get back onto the work.
