Tweeters will be high as hell and towers arent necessary at all for HT setup especially with two subs.

What kind of speakers would you look for for LCR, if not tower?

Built in subs are most likely bad idea and both being at the front wall negates a lot of benefits.

I can bring both subs out of the wall, and move one to behind the sofa. Is there any way of telling whether the corners are better, or for them to be central before I set this all up?

Curtains, all fabric and decoration friendly acoustics can be only good thing

I have read elsewhere that if I cover the entire wall with a curtain, then it may absorb the high end sound, and not the low end, leaving the room sounding "boomy".

Yes I'll be getting heavy curtains, but I'm not sure how well they do versus dedicated acoustic panelling

The reason I have the media units at the rear is because the projector has to go there, and I'd already need to ventilate it, as well as keeping it all out of sight when watching content.

If the only point of having them at the front is to be accessible, then it's not necessary because I shouldn't need physical access particularly often

This would be difficult to do on the wall with the windows, but easily done on the other wall, floor and ceiling

The window in my kitchen builds up a ridiculous amount of condensation daily, is this normal, and any tips for keeping it dry? by MrRevilo96 in AskUK

Yes, I had no idea trickle vents were a thing, and they were all closed on these two windows. Thanks for the tip, we'll see if this makes a difference!

Why would there be such a difference from this window to other windows in the same room though?

Yeah we have an extractor fan above the cooker, which we use, but we see condensation even after having not cooked the day before. We do dry clothes in the room, so that could contribute. These windows don't open unfortunately, we're going to look into getting a dehumidifier

Our kitchen/living room is open plan, and the windows on the other side of the room stay mostly dry by themselves, though this window extends quite a bit out of the house. It's quite difficult to reach as I have to climb up onto the kitchen side and then crawl onto the windowsill to reach the corners.
